A beautiful and modern place, with an excellent location to stay in the metropolitan area, especially when you travel from the south, without so much traffic to get in and out.

I stayed Esteban’s place for 2 months as a digital nomad. Esteban was so kind to let me check it out, and ask questions. He was willing to work with me. His place is in a really great location as it’s in the Barrio Escalante neighborhood and there is so much to do all around it within walking distance. There is a grocery store right across as well as a gas station, Starbucks and Papa Johns. The place itself is very modern and nice and is as pictured. Because of the building design it does get very warm inside during the day, even with the fans provided especially during the rainy season when it’s more humid. The apartment also has a lot to offer as it has a gym, two pools, and movie theatre room. The staff was also very nice and welcoming as well. Overall it’s a great stay and for the price! I would certainly book again!

José's accommodation is really well located - within walking distance of the city center. José is very friendly and gave us direct instructions on how to find the accommodation. The apartment is as described and you can also use the pool. We would come back!

Excellent location especially if you are a vegan! There were about 5 vegan restaurants within a 6 block radius. The unit itself was clean, spacious for 1-2 guests, and had all the necessary supplies and amenities you would need. I had no trouble sleeping, but bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise as there are trains passing by throughout the day. Walkable and safe neighborhood with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to wander into.

Raquel's place was perfect for our stay, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bed and sheets. It was great having a washer AND dryer in the unit. The location in Los Yoses and near Escalante was a real plus. We have found that generally you don't need air conditioning in San Jose, but it was nice to be able to turn it on for 15 minutes or so, when the heat and humidity was a little high. I think we used it twice in our 17 days there. A great place to stay and we loved being on the 20th floor. Note that there is a train that goes by the front of the building and if the door to the balcony is open it is loud. However, for some reason it never bothered us. It stopped at bedtime. We would definitely stay again.

I said that Giovanni’s during my first trip to Costa Rica. Location was great. There were tons of things to do nearby. The building is very secure and the food was really good. Downstairs at the pasta bar, but also nearby restaurants never takes more than four or five minutes for an Uber to arrive at the condo. Definitely work. Price and I will definitely stay there again. Next time that I’m in San Jose.

Rigo is an excellent host, I loved the excellent communication he had from the beginning and I take a lot of encouragement. We have stayed in many apartments in the Escalante and Los Yoses area of San Jose. This is the only one we have found that is reasonably QUIET! We were not awakened by the train beginning at 5:00 am or the road noise beginning at 6:00 am. In addition, it has great views of the city and has comfortable furniture and an effective floor plan. It is a great apartment that we will seek to rent every time we come to San Jose! Ed and Javier are wonderful hosts who work themselves, not a rental agency. They responded to inquiries immediately and were proactive. They were very committed to creating a wonderful experience.

This property was easy to check in and out. It is very well equipped inclusive of essentials in the kitchen and extra towels for the pool. The back has a view to lush trees. It is very quiet.

Everything was perfect; communication, spotless place, Curridabat is amazing. Nothing bad to say.
