Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Montezuma

I made it to the Cottage right before dark. Hearing Howler Monkeys up above was amazing! The fan was on high and both ceiling fans going. Bed was very comfortable and welcoming. I had traveled all day and it was perfect! Loved the airiness of the room and the simplicity of the bathroom and kitchen. Plan to stay here again!

AMAZING stay! Highly recommend. This was one of my favourite Airbnb stays! The photos look nice and the place is even better in person! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable King bed, storage and full kitchen necessities. Loved the front deck and the big windows giving to a stunning jungle view! We were highly impressed by the gym and yoga deck WOW! The gym had all kinds of props and great machines. Hosts were amazing with responsiveness, answer my questions and giving suggestions. We loved the recommendation to watch the sunrise from an abandoned pool at the end of one of the hiking trails! It was magical! Thank you!

We wanted to stay somewhere near the beach with a touch of rainforest and that's exactly what Taru Rentals gave us! We followed the airbnb directions until we noticed that the address can also be found on Google Maps under Taru Rentals. This made the journey a lot easier, however, it's easy to pass up the entrance if you don't have your eyes peeled for the Taru Rentals wooden sign. I loved staying here! It was private, but had a community area with ping pong and a gym. We worked out at the gym one day and it was such a great way to start off the day. The location was very close to the Montezuma center and beach. We appreciated that Taru Rentals had parking spots and clear signage for the 5 spots. Everything was great and this is definitely one of the more unique airbnbs I've been in! Thank you for having us.

Great place and will stay here anytime I go back to Santa Teresa. It’s exactly as described and better. Best spot

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool könnte etwas sauberer sein aber alles in Allem war es super.

Magnifique endroit dans la “jungle” avec une vue sur l’océan! Nous avons adoré l’immense terrasse qui nous a permis d’observer les singes hurleurs et beaucoup d’oiseaux différents. Le logement était confortable et propre. Nous n’avons pas rencontré les propriétaires, mais Maddie et Katie qui travaillent sur place nous ont fait sentir les bienvenus! ☺️ à savoir que les portes ne sont pas parfaitement scellées, il y a donc des petits insectes qui entrent, ce que nous avons réglé avec une serviette. On recommande bien sûr l’endroit !

La casa de James es una joya. Todo súper limpio, espacioso y cómodo. La cocina al aire libre es genial y las habitaciones tienen vistas increíbles. Caben seis personas sin problema ni sensación de agobio (aunque hemos estado en pareja) y el salón es amplio, con una tele enorme y sofás grandes para relajarse después de la playa. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo lo guapo de Malpaís, pero con la paz de estar en plena naturaleza. Animales en tu portal, selva alrededor, pura vida total. La comunicación con Stefanie 10/10, es una persona encantadora y poco complicada. Si buscas un sitio perfecto (bonito, cómodo y bien ubicado), este es el lugar. Volvería sin dudarlo

Pura vida at its max. Pure relaxation, comfort, safety. Zeidy’s food absolute perfection, the kids kept saying it wasn’t even real, calling it dream food. Pool is bigger than what the pictures show, beach wonderful, restaurant down the road a neat little touch for a dinner. We got horses and massages right at the house. The team is fantastic and Jose was wonderful to line it all up. Our private driver that Jose arranged was just wonderful and accommodating to any needs. We would give 10 stars if we could, just like other reviews. Stay here. Or don’t, which will clear up more space in the calendar for us to come back :) :)

Had never been to CR before. This spot is unique. Super quiet area, two paths to the the most beautiful beach. Howler monkeys, iguanas, birds, mangos, coconuts, butterflies, flowers. We found the surf break in town better for southern hemi season. Really a memorable trip and the house fit three surf buddies perfectly. Staff was above and beyond expected, they came and cleaned twice! Washer and dryer were so valued.

La propiedad es maravillosa con una ubicación espectacular, las vistas al océano y al atardecer fueron lo mejor. El ambiente abierto le da mucha frescura al lugar. Pudimos disfrutar de la privacidad y tranquilidad del lugar. Muy cerca de Santa Teresa y Playa Hermosa, las mejores playas. La atención de los anfitriones fue impecable. Mau siempre estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades y se aseguró de que nuestra estancia fuera la mejor desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra partida.

Incredibly nice place, with great details and very warm welcome and attention from the hosts. Just to have it in mind, the entrance to the house is rocky and a bit difficult, so a 4x4 car or at least an SUV is better/required.

Nos gustó mucho este lugar, buena ubicación, cerca de la playa, naturaleza, arboles grandes que dan sombra, una piscina maravillosa, todo muy limpio y con todo lo que se necesita... Gracias
