The F. Scott Suite

This historic home houses the only museum dedicated to Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald. The Fitzgeralds lived here from 1931 until 1932, writing portions of their respective novels, "Save Me The Waltz" and "Tender Is The Night". The downstairs now houses the Fitzgerald Museum, and the upstairs is now home to two separate suites. As we are a historic home, there are some limitations on modernizing the home with contemporary amenities. If you require those, this may not be the suite for you.

The Wright Retreat property was very cozy, clean, modern and had the perfect layout for spending time with friends and family. The backyard view of the lake was perfect for morning coffee and meditation. The host we very quick to respond and accommodating to our needs. I would definitely stay here again if needed and recommend this home to everyone I know traveling in the Montgomery area! Thank you Shirese & Joi for making this experience great! 😊

I actually picked the wrong date by mistake. The host was willing to accommodate me, but couldn’t. She was extremely nice and pleasant. She refunded me, even though it was not her fault. That says a lot about the host to me. I will definitely look her up first when I need a place in this area again.

Green Acres is the place for ME

The property was what we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the location was very close to the event we were attending. The pool could have been cleaner but we made the best of it. Everything was as it was described. The proactive communication was great and left us with no questions. We did not realize the two back bedrooms were connected by a closet. Adults in both bedrooms, we just locked each door but left us without the use of the closet; we only stayed one night so it wasn’t a big deal. If there are tenants staying longer, it could be a thing. We had a great stay and would choose this property again.
