Enjoy beautiful views of the majestic forest and experience the visiting wildlife; parrots, Bush turkeys, nesting Lyrebirds and the resident wallaby and her joey. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views on the wrap around verandah, play some tennis, stroll to Crystal pool for a refreshing dip in the river or explore some of the beautiful walking trails through the majestic forest. The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Our historic Cottage has stood graciously on the banks of the Barrington River since the 1880s. Scenic countryside is at your doorstep: enjoy a rambling walk and splash in the river. In winter, rekindle by the slow combustion fire, and let your soul unwind. Take in the tranquil scenery, with beauty that captivates as the seasons change. The Old School Weathershed is located in the small and vibrant village of Gundy, 20km east of Scone in the Upper Hunter. Boasting lovely scenery, horse studs, cycling and bushwalking it is a beautiful, tranquil part of NSW with plenty to see and do. The Old School of Gundy was built in the late 1800's and converted to a stunning home in recent times. The Weather Shed is the children's playground shelter, beautifully converted into luxury guest accommodation.
