Espaço muito agradável para um sossego difícil de encontrar nos dias que correm, em especial perto de uma cidade já movimentada como mo Guimarães. Precisa de um pouco de manutenção mas no geral, é uma casa fantástica

Excelente alojamiento. Ha sido una experiencia muy positiva y recomendable. A destacar la amplitud y luminosidad de la casa, con una cocina completamente equipada, una gran sala muy acogedora y funcional, un magnifico dormitorio principal y un dormitorio secundario que, siendo de pequeño tamaño, cumple con su función. Todas estas estancias están vertebradas por una preciosa escalera que dota de personalidad al edificio. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro histórico, lo que permite disfrutar de lo mejor de la ciudad nada mas salir por la puerta. Si volvemos por Guimarães, sin duda será nuestra primera opción.

We loved our stay at Quinta da Casa Nova. It is a beautifully restored traditional stone home with all the modern comforts and amenities. The house has beautiful views of the local vineyards and surrounding mountains. Short drive to local town centre and shopping mall. Ana was very welcoming and helpful. A recommendation for those looking to explore Santo Tirso and surrounding areas of Porto.

Ein toller Ort, um mal den Alltag zu vergessen. Ein moderne Haus auf alten Fundamenten, der Bach fließt drunter durch, man kann ihn durch den Glasbodenausschnitt im Fußboden sehen. Der rauschende Wasserfall ist allgegenwärtig, auch durch die großen Panoramafenster zu sehen. Wenn man sicher auf den Beinen ist, steigt man oberhalb des Wasserfalls in den Fluss (Achtung hier und da ein paar Dornenzweige) und schwimmt der Strömung entgegen, bis die frische Temperatur einen zum Umkehren zwingt. Aber auch im frischen Pool kann man sich jederzeit abkühlen. Das Internet ist auch sehr entspannt, so dass man mal wieder zum Buchlesen kommt und die Welt da draußen vergisst. Das benachbarte Dorf Taide ist in gut 30 Minuten zu erwandern. Das Restaurant "Tasquinha do Povo" war ein Erlebnis, liebevolle Bewirtung, leckere Sardinen, frisches hausgebackenes Fladenbrot und dann von den Einheimischen am Nachbartisch noch auf einen hiesigen Wein verführt worden. Es war rundum ein tolles Erlebnis für uns.

Parfait pour un séjour en famille. La maison est bien équipée. Le jardin est super.

É a segunda vez que regresso ao Bungalow do Pedro, e faço-o porque de facto é muito agradável. A comunicação com o Pedro é rápida e eficiente, sendo que ele está pronto para resolver qualquer problema que possa ocorrer.

A l'arrivée, accueil très chaleureux et disponible de Mr José. Mr et Mme Antonio (les parents) très sympathiques. Mon fils, ma belle-fille et mes 2 petits enfants ont été ravis de leur séjour. La maison très propre, lieu paisible au milieu de la nature, du linge à volonté mis à disposition. L'épouse de Mr Antonio se chargeait de laver le linge, de le repasser et déposer la bannette devant la porte d'entrée. Des légumes de jardin ont été offerts. Nous sommes très satisfaits de la réservation et nous recommandons ce lieu.

Casa Douro is a real gem of a place. It is actually really close to some good roads and lots of amenities and places of interest but as soon as you pass through the gates of the estate you are in little Oasis surrounded by trees and nature. Our granddaughter was enthralled by the deer as well as the resident cat. The pool area is lovely with shady as well as sunny spots while the accommodation is in the original farm buildings with thick walls and small windows which keeps it super cool on a hot day. There is air-con but it was hardly needed. The bathrooms were modern and pristine. Outside you are in what would have been a working courtyard but is now a lovely space to sit or play table tennis. Everywhere there is a nod to the past Communication was excellent and our queries were responded to really quickly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
