【traditional room】 Enjoy a relaxing stay

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our first trip to Japan was so wonderful. I'm never been a fan of the city. When I went to Tokyo and Osaka it was so crowded due to over tourism in those areas. I appreciated Yoshi's accommodation more and enjoy so much of the hidden parts of Japan like Izu and parts of Shizuoka. I definitely recommend more people to stay in areas like Fujieda. It's truly a traditional experience and environment great to get settling in with Japanese culture and mannor. I would definitely recommend more foreigner explore more parts of Japan rather than the hotspots of Japan!!! I highly recommend Yoshi!!!

Michi's accommodation is very nice, located in the heart of rice fields and tea fields. It was very nice to be away from the city and in a quiet place. The train station is a 20-minute walk, but Michi came to pick me up by car at the train station and even dropped me off when I left. He's very thoughtful. Thank you Michi for this stay.

Sorry to interrupt with 3 generations + dogs.By the way, it was the best! I booked it because I thought the bath and fireplace to boil with firewood would be fun, but I enjoyed it more than I imagined.A bath surrounded by greenery and cypress scents while adjusting the fire on our own... is there such a luxury? The hot water also feels soft.I enjoyed the night and the morning to the fullest. And the great thing about spending time around the fireplace.I asked for a comparative set of river fish, but the mountain woman who baked in the fireplace was delicious and delicious. The kids were also delightful.Although it was dried overnight in season, it had a very good snack because of the flavor of the plum.It was GW, so is it a little cold?I thought, but I was surrounded by the fireplace all the time, so I had a warm stay. It's also a good memory that everyone slept with small fish.Thick futons were also provided, and I slept well. Swings and bouldering in the room (and you can climb it to the attic!)There was also, and the children were always playing happily. The host, Hasegawa, was very kind and welcoming.Thank you for your prompt reply that I had a problem during my stay. There was only one point, but there was no particular inconvenience, but the chopsticks were small, so you may want to bring your own chopsticks. But that doesn't matter.Looking for so-called fashion and comfort may be a little different, but you can have a precious and luxurious experience that you can't compare!I would love to visit again. Thank you!

Private cottage & bathhouse on historic estate

Staying at Shelley’s guesthouse is truly a marvelous and unique experience. With all the luxury you need and an atmospheric historical space combined, this really is more than a five star experience. If you want to take a step into a world you would otherwise never experience, please stay here. Shelley really put her soul into creating this special place in Japanese nature and it is a privilege that she wants to share it with her guests. We are forever grateful to have stayed here. And please try the local bento meals, made with love by one of the villagers. If we have a chance to ever return, we would without a doubt!

Opened March 20th! 2 min walk to the beach! A private guest house in a hot spring town Renovated retro vacant house

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hamamatsu is a quiet and lovely town. We enjoyed the 2 nights stay here with my family of 6 including 2kids and 2seniors. Host was flexible to help us get into accommodation though there was some minor hiccups to check in instructions via the electronic tablet. Accommodation was comfortable and felt at home. Kids loved the chalkboard, ping pong table and bathtub. TV also had YouTube access and access to content to entertain the family after dinner. Good washer and dryer brought convenience for the family and kitchen facilities were good. Thanks for providing a yakiniku bbq portable stove. We enjoyed a bbq dinner at home. Thanks for providing a 5 star service and make guests felt at home away from home. We also enjoyed walking around in the neighbourhood and also loved patronising the local bakery near by! Probably one of the yummy cream puff and eclairs we have eaten😍! Baked by a lovely senior couple.
