Family-friendly holiday rentals in Morisset

We loved our stay! Perfect location for a weekend of wineries and lots of space for babies and dogs to explore. We would love to come back and stay again :)

SeaPod was the perfect location for a getaway visit to Sydney with my 2 daughters. We explored the local natural environment with trail runs, walks and particularly loved the morning swim in the ocean pool. Spectacular views from every room of the ocean, the surfers, the dolphins and the waves were highlights of our experience. We would love to come back in the near future.

It was a beautiful spacious place for a group of good friends to tour the Hunter region. It was central to most places making it easy to drive everywhere. Dan and Ariane were friendly and accommodating with our needs. A great place to relax!

Armando is a Super host. He looked after us very well. Even though we cut short our trip, we hope to enjoy Armando's home, in our next visit to Newcastle.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

We had a great stay. The cottage and surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and such a wonderful and safe space for the pup to run around the garden. It’s a wonderful area, pretty remote so very quiet only the cows passing by. Morpeth was about a 15-20 minute drive and is a lovely town with everything you need If you’re looking for a dog friendly wine tour, we can highly recommend Grape Experience Tours. They arranged a fantastic day for us. Picking us all up from the cottage, gave us a a full day and were fantastic with our dog. Fantastic weekend, we loved every second

Paul has a lovely home and was a great host. No issues with our stay and Paul was very responsive. All in all, a great trip!

The guesthouse is really amazing. So spacious, lovely living area, huge deck with views over the bush and bellbirds singing. The pool and spa were really great. So many bedrooms and a large playroom which was great for the kids. Would recommend for large groups or families. The only challenge for us was the unfenced dam which posed a bit of a hazard for younger children.

We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

I enjoyed dealing with Kate who deserves her reputation as a super host. She was unlike some other hosts I have dealt with very flexible with check in and check out times. I really hope that I have the opportunity to stay in this lovely property again and wish her all the best

Rod was proactive in his communication, left a stunning bottle of wine & cheese which was a great touch and we could access the property easily. The location was perfect for what we needed and everyone was comfortable and happy. Would highly recommend! Beautiful patio to watch the golf from as well.

What a remarkable location - and a unique way to access the tree house via boat. Berowra Waters is a stunning place, and having your own little boat tied up to the jetty to jump into for a peaceful explore of the water at any time was definitely the highlight of the stay. The house is lovely and nestled in high trees and bushland with expansive views up the river, with the afternoon sun reflecting the undulating ripples of the water onto the ceiling of the lounge room like a meditative slideshow. The indoor fire was super cosy, with plenty of wood supplied. Outdoor bath was a treat even on a cold night. It was fun to be picked up and dropped back at the marina by knowledgeable locals - very friendly and helpful. Loved every moment !

We stayed at Daniel and Sasha’s property in Picketts Valley, what a gorgeous home it is. Everything is just like the photos. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. With a large family catch up, their place had plenty of space and so much to do for the kids. Apart from the kids swimming in the heated pool and feeding the cutest little ponies every day, the bottom level of the house is a kids playroom. With something to do for all ages. The kids were so entertained. We are a family who love to cook, so the kitchen was fabulous. Lots of boards for a grazing table and a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the sunset with beautiful views. We appreciated the attention to detail and the simple things provided by Daniel and Sasha that made our stay really relaxing. We will be booking with them again. Thanks for making our 4 day break so enjoyable!

We have had a Girls’ weekend annually here for a number of years. Corinne is a lovely host who always makes us feel welcome with wine and breakfast provisions. Wonderful log fire, one year we will hopefully get around to lighting the fire pit. We find the Lovedale location fantastic for the activities we do.

Beachousesix was very well appointed with amazing ocean views. It was clean, quiet & within around a 10 minute walk to restaurants & shops. There was plenty of street parking also. I would love to stay here again if in Terrigal. Thanks Tim

We absolutely loved staying here! It is a such a beautiful home and in a great location. So close to Avoca town centre as well as great local walks to cafes, shops and the beach. The house was beautifully kept and had everything we needed. Being so close to the lake was such an added bonus! Felicity even provided a fantastic travel cot and highchair for our little ones. It's a great place to stay both with or without kids. As a family of 5 with 3 babies we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. We will certainly be back. Highly highly recommend!

Peaceful location, had a great girls weekend away 💜 next time I’ll just remember to bring more bug spray, there were more mozzies than I expected to be at the location, and I did not come prepared enough as the person who is generally the one bitten in the group, this is an error on my part

A wonderful stay! Felt right at home. Place was clean and cozy. Therese even went out of her way to make sure it the heating was on for our arrival

Tania was lovely - really friendly. She was very responsive and provided tips on things to do during the stay. She has the makes herself available if there are any issues (we had a tiny issue with the key, which was resolved immediately), but otherwise ensures that she doesn't intrude on your stay. She is very mindful of this.

Edwina and her husband were lovely hosts, and Elfin Hill is a great complexthat is well appointed and maintained. We enjoyed our visit.

Stephen’s place was exactly as expected, felt at home as soon as you arrive. The grounds and space are amazing and great for the larger group if needed. Stephen was a great communicator and easy to talk too. Would be more than happy to come again!!
