House holiday rentals in Morningside

To say we felt welcome and comfortable is an understatement. The accommodation is extremely spacious with beautiful surrounds and private patio. Cherie was always available and my mother’s stay was so comfortable, we extended it by another week. Needless to say we will be back, and we are looking forward to it already.

Had a wonderful stay here - beautiful space, clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed, the house didn’t have a hairdryer and once requested for it Pabi made sure to get one for us which was really appreciated! What really made the experience stand out was our host’s warm hospitality, we felt right at home from arrival. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay! I would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Wonderful short stay at Ingrids place. Pristine accomodation in beautiful suburb with easy access to transport/e hailing services. Host is super friendly and attended to all my needs.

We had a lovely stay at Chad's fascinating property. The spacious home was clean and had every amenity we needed plus more. The stay was perfect for our 2 families with children. The pool table, table tennis and the animals kept the kids occupied for hours. highly recommended

We had an amazing time at Silungile’s place! The space was beautiful with everything you need. Sitting outside in the garden was so peaceful and calm. Silungile is an amazing host! I would definitely book this space again.

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

Outstanding house. Great location, very quiet, and great amenities. Loved the fast wifi, smart TV, and well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable, with great bedding. It was easy to get in and out of the house as we had lots of business to attend to -- would love to stay again.

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

Slee was an amazing host. Very patient and accommodating. She is friendly and always available to answering my questions or being able to help me when I call her. The space was clean, beautiful backyard. I love the indoor braai area. It was lovely having my staycation there

We had the pleasure of staying at Stanley & Alison's cottage for a long stay, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our cat, Meadow, was warmly welcomed, which meant so much to us. The cottage is nestled among stunning trees and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its location is incredibly convenient—close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, Norwood Mall, and just about anything else we needed. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for linens. The weekly visits from the friendly cleaner and helpful gardener were a lovely bonus and added to the ease of our stay. Stanley & Alison were excellent hosts, and we truly loved every moment of our time here. We can’t recommend this cottage enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated retreat. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! 🌿

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

We had an absolute dream stay at Vee's beautiful home. The hot tub was a definite highlight - made our stay even more special. Vee was a pleasure to work with - super responsive, and accommodating. Her hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a lovely place to relax.

A beautiful find in the middle of Linden, very close to a lot ammenties and restaurants. Very much enjoyed my stay, Agnes and Francois were wonderful hosts, recommend staying at their beautiful home 100%. A gem of a Airbnb. They catered to some last minute changes I had with no issue and were very understanding. If you're looking for safe, very accomdating place for you and a couple of people.. definitely consider giving their place a try!

Our stay at Yana’s beautiful 3-bedroom Airbnb was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. She even kindly had fresh flowers for our stay put in. The living areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. Yana has thought of everything — from a fully stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The location was fantastic as well — quiet, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed, from restaurants and cafes to parks and shopping. Rosebank is only 4 mins away by car. Above all, Yana was an outstanding host — responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and her attention to detail really showed. Hope to see you again soon and all the best. Ozzie

What a gem!! We are a group of business people from London, UK who get away once a year to a nice place to relax, learn and recreate together. We had never been to Johannesburg, proper and especially not to Sandton. The house was very clean & was perfect for us. Large and spacious with a beautiful pool, steaming hot tub and yard in the back. The whole place is made for entertaining. The area is lush and didn't feel urban even though it is surrounded by other nice homes. What a special home. I only hope this home is available to rent out again in the future. We want to go there every time we visit Johannesburg 🙂❤️

The accommodation was great, exactly as advertised. Large property, my family found it spacious. Since the trip was in winter, it was cold but firewood was easily provided for by the host and gas heaters were readily available. The location was easily in access of a main thoroughfare with access to shopping nearby.
