Close to Whakatane - a great little town with boutique shopping and dining venues. Come and relax or take the opportunity to do charter fishing or trip to Whale Island. ENJOY!

Wainui Beachfront Home is located on Moana Road right across from the beach. It is a 10min Drive from the City and only 1km away from the Okitu Store. The House has three bedrooms (2 King Beds & 1 Double Bed), One Bathroom and 2 Toilets. The Kitchen/Dining/Living area is open plan and offers a lot of space. Nestled in the hills of Ohiwa, with views of Ohiwa harbour is our 3-bedroom 1960’s Lockwood home. A quiet location, surrounded with well-established plants and trees, and a working farm behind, this is a place where you can relax, soak in the tranquillity, listen to the bird life, read a book or even paint while revelling in the ever-changing vista of the harbour below. If you are looking for a little more activity take advantage of the outdoors with harbour, beach and local walks close by.

Wheatstone Studio

Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Our studio mixes a luxurious but informal bach aesthetic it’s the ideal place to unwind, relax and enjoy Gisborne. BBQ and surfboard available on request.

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated at the top of a hill with good views. We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.
