There are also plenty of seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking, river play, hot springs, and Hokuto City, which is surrounded by famous peaks, has many viewpoints where you can enjoy views of Mt. Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. There is also an abundance of spring water. Please try to find them. The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. We are renting out another house in the town where we live. There is no TV, but instead there is a grand piano, picture books, and a forest that fills the window. 8weeks Fujimi is a quiet house at the foot of the Fujimi Panorama Resort. During the day, listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highlands, and at night, gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand. The villa, with its log cabin-style interior and grand piano, creates a space that is both extraordinary and somehow familiar. We moved from the city in 2020 with our then 1-year-old daughter. We were fascinated by Fujimi-cho and decided to move there within 8 weeks. We spent a luxurious time in the rich natural surroundings, and by the time eight weeks had passed, we were thinking, "Let's stay in this town." We named it "8weeks" because we hope that our guests will also spend time here that makes them want to stay. This is the house where I have lived with my 6-year-old daughter, so small children can also stay here with peace of mind. We have taken care to avoid placing items that could be dropped or bumped into as much as possible, and we also have a variety of picture books, musical instruments, and toys.

Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
