It has been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization), with features such as white plastered earthen walls and natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through the water basin, the ladle, the deer stone, the stream between the stepping stones, and the pond. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

Please purchase food and beverages at a supermarket or other store on the island. When you spend time outside around the fire, conversation naturally flows. Since the entire property is rented out to one group per day, You can spend time at your own pace without worrying about your surroundings. A sauna is also available (for an additional fee). Warm up your body and feel the breeze outside. As you repeat this, you will have time to suddenly notice the feeling of being "here and now." During your trip on the Shimanami Kaido, It is recommended for those who want to take a little break during their stay.
