Tooloom Homestead - High Country Escape.

Treat yourself to a totally private and immersive High Country Escape. You will enjoy a fully equipped gourmet, granite kitchen with double oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and huge island bench. The 18 meter long, open entertainment area includes a large dining room table, slow combustion fire and huge open fireplace. Constructed from local hardwood timber, the house is imbued with a distinctive Australian aesthetic and the walls are decorated with botanical eucalyptus drawings. Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. Bonalbo B&B "Manning Cottage"

Manning cottage was once a school house, but now welcomes visitors to its rooms. Set in a tranquil environment surrounded by birdlife and rolling hills, the cottage is beautifully decorated for practicality and comfort. A well stocked breakfast basket with locally sourced produce is included. The Upper Clarence district offers a choice of outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, bird-watching, bushwalking, 4wdriving as well as the local show, campdraft, and dog trials are held annually.

A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

Located on 5 acres this beautifully renovated separate studio has all the comforts of home. Modern fully equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom, with unlimited wifi and pet friendly. A 1000 sq. mtr. gated and fenced off-leash area is available for your fur baby to enjoy the stay. Undercover parking. A complimentary breakfast basket on your first day of cereal, eggs, beans, toast, butter, jam, marmalade, tea and coffee. Please note there are no EV charging facilities available.

Cheese Maker's Cottage

Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, which becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children.

Private studio

Spacious self contained studio set amongst well maintained established gardens. With a private entrance, well appointed kitchenette and bathroom, the studio should meet all of your needs Further down the property, views across the valley are spectacular. Horses/cats/dogs welcome. We are 20km east of Warwick and 20km from Queen Mary Falls. A quick drive down the road is a beautiful clear water rockpool to cool off in on those warm summer days.

'Averin' - Holiday Home in the Border Ranges

'Averin' is a comfortable three bedroom, two bathroom holiday house overlooking the NSW/QLD Border Ranges. It is an ideal location to reconnect with family, entertain friends or used as a home base to visit local sites. The house is spacious with modern facilities, air-conditioning and fans for summer, and a wood fire for the winter. The views from both verandas appear slightly different each day making this location unique and special.

Welcome to "Hillview", a 72 acre working farm , dachshund stud, and Friesian horses. Newly renovated, this 2-BR apartment sits atop the main house. Guests have a private entry and exclusive use of a ground floor courtyard and an upper deck that offers panoramic views across the valley below. Breakfast supplies are included. BBQ on deck, Wake to the sounds of nature, and see the amazing night sky.
