Lower Chalet Snowbird:2-4 people

This brand new chalet is perched above the car free village of MURREN in the Bernese Oberland outside charming Interlaken. The apartment is the lower floor of the chalet with a spacious living/dining room and large windows that look across the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley with its 72 waterfalls to the North Face of the Eiger and the Jungfrau Massif. It offers the best view of any chalet rental in Murren. The Master Bedroom has a king bed and 2 walk in closets leading to the bathroom with shower and tub. On the edge of the living room is a queen wall bed, so the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 . The spiffy fully equipped modern kitchen has granite counter tops, dishwasher, 4 burner stove and oven. The fridge has a freezer. There is a bar with bar stools. The chalet has a wood burning stove and radiant floor heating. In the winter it is essentially ski in/ski out offering ski lockers and boot warmers.. You will love this space in the typical charming Swiss village of Murren. We're adjacent to a wildlife preserve, with daily sightings of graceful charming Chamois, so we cannot accommodate dogs or cats. If you want spacious, quiet, private, cozy and spectacular, this place is for you. World famous hiking and skiing are at the doorstep. And a Peace you've never before experienced. After you check in, you'll be welcomed by our wonderful Property Manager Liza who will help you fill out the Kurtaxe form. While we pay the Kurtaxe for you, you need the filled out form in order to pick up the "Kurkarte" ID card at the Sports Center. With this card you can enjoy the free indoor swimming pool/hot tub plus free ice-skating in the winter. You can also benefit from discounts at various stores.

Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

The nest located within Chalet Staubbach is adjacent to the famous Staubbach waterfall. The stream from the waterfall runs through the properties garden. The nest is a perfect base for skiing/sledging/hiking in the winter and for hiking, mountain biking and generally exploring the area in the summer. The nest is a leisurely 40 minute walk from the amazing Trummelbach falls. Also being 50m from Camping Jungfrau means there is a shop, bar and restaurant next door offering takeaway or eat in.

The place is close to cable car stations (3 minutes from Mürren BLM train station and about 10-15 min minutes from Schilthornbahn station). The price does not include the tourist tax. The house was very clean and had beautiful view of the Lake. It had every amenity which is required in a house. The only concern is its little away from interlaken, tho 8-9mins by train. Train to interlaken is every hour. The host Wasana was very helpful and responsive. Highly recomended for families.

This apartment was well situated in the charming town of Mürren. You could not beat the view. Mark was proactive in explaining that there would be construction nearby that could partially block the view but we found that it was not a problem at all. So far on this journey in Switzerland and in my previous visits to this country, Mark’s apartment stood out as the best and also a good value. The sport center pool was clean and practically empty. It was the perfect refresher after a long mountain hike. I would gladly stay here again! Mark is a superb host!

This place is SO quaint and cool. Felt like we were in a little cabin in the mountains. Very well laid out, plenty of space, and all the amenities you would want. We had a terrific stay at Remo's...and HIGHLY recommend.

L’appartement est très propre, spacieux et parfaitement équipé. La vue est magnifique, et l’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la région : proche d’Interlaken, Grindelwald, Iseltwald et Lauterbrunnen. La gare est juste à côté, ce qui facilite grandement les déplacements en transports en commun. Benjamin a toujours été réactif et a répondu à toutes mes questions. La place de parking est aussi un vrai plus. Je recommande vivement !
