Mango Nook

CamilleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Upon entry we immediately felt at home. The mango nook is perfectly located, it is walking distance to the beach. The home is surrounded by necessary amenities like a mini mart. We couldn’t figure out the A/C and Lusan responded quickly. She had her maintenance come within 10 minutes. The icing on the cake was being able to pick the mangos right off the tree from her orchard. It is my number one pick for accommodations.

Bequia Whalers Lodge

MattRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Oh...my...gosh. If you want peace and quiet and a tremendous ocean view, from either a house deck or a pool, this is the place for you! It's an older house, literally the home of whalers (a formerly big industry in Bequia, where whales are still hunted up to four times a year), so it has a great historical feel. The deck is covered and the wind never ceases, so you never feel hot there. The pool is great to jump in after a day at the beach and just to relax and enjoy the sun setting. Yep, bring your own soap. That was strange, but not a big deal. This house is quiet for a reason, as it's not near restaurants or minimarts (as others have stated). We looked at that as a small price to pay. The house is connected to the Bequia Plantation Hotel, located in the middle of the island, so they can call cabs for you and you can use their property and facilities. We loved this house so much. If we ever return to Bequia, we're staying there again.

Petite La Pompe, La Pompe, Bequia

SusannaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Jan and Louis' place is a gem on Bequia! You can't beat the view from the hammocks on the deck and the apartment had everything we needed to cook our meals and relax. But the best parts are Jan and Louis themselves! Honestly, we felt like we were visiting family or old friends rather than strangers. They generously let us tag along on their music gigs and introduced us to some great people. It was a joy to spend time with them! From the beers, juice, and milk they left for us the first day, to the rides back and forth to the ferry, they were super star hosts and we couldn't ask for anything more. It was a delight to visit Bequia, we hope to be back soon!

Gingerlilly Villa - with stunning harbour views

DeShawnRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Pictures do not do this place justice. The villa is large and beautiful with some of the best views in Bequia. The kitchen is well equipped and the place was clean. The hill that it sits on is difficult to climb but doable if you're in reasonable shape. Dining and market nearby. The host was very accommodating. Bequia does have a lot of mosquitoes so bring a healthy amount of strong repellent.

Letovah Villa

Gorgeous house at the top of Mt. Pleasant Road. Every morning, a bay view was spread before us (it changes daily as the yachts and sailboats come in and out) and a small swimming pool to cool off at the end of a hot day. If you’ve got strong thighs, we also jogged the roads near the house, but it is quite hilly. One thing to note is that the house is very “open” plan with large doors that create wonderful indoor-outdoor living. And the bedrooms have this same feeling with doors that opened to the back patio. The property isn’t fenced in. And there are no screens in the windows or doors (and no A/C). This means lots of fresh air… and lots of wildlife visitors. We had many lizards, large moths, caterpillars, a neighborhood cat, a rather large stray dog, many hungry mosquitos and one very annoyed hummingbird that got stuck in the master bedroom. You get used to it. We didn’t have a car, so we befriended a fabulous taxi service — Curtice Taxi (ask for Pearlette!).

A truly magical property with breathtaking views. The private pool was a fantastic feature, and the thoughtful provisions of fresh eggs, fruit, beer, and more—were a wonderful touch of hospitality. We felt so welcomed and cared for. Can’t wait to return!

Serafina Luxury Apartment

Belinda was a great host! She was very communicative throughout our stay. The space was wonderful and exactly as pictured. We were able to go out to eat at different places all within walking distance as well as go to the beach. Only thing worth mentioning is that the bathrooms did not have doors which may affect privacy for larger groups.
