The Kimura family has two buildings that are important cultural assets. Meals are served in the main house, which was built in 1699. Guests will be able to stay in an old but new building (designated an important cultural property) that will be renovated by 2026. There are four confirmed accommodations in Japan that use nationally designated important cultural properties, including our home.Of those, this is the only accommodation where you can rent the entire building. This is a small, private rental inn nestled in the mountains of Uya, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, and is available to only one group per day.Outside the window, the mountains and villages of Uya spread out before you. You can enjoy a quiet stay while taking in the scenery, a little away from the bustle of the tourist areas. The accommodation is located on the grounds of the host's family home, where they were born and raised.We built an inn where you can enjoy Uya's nature and quiet moments on the site of a barn that stood for about 100 years. A newly built, private rental with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and toilet that can accommodate up to 4 people.It is especially recommended for a relaxing stay for two people.The water in the building is spring water drawn from the mountains. This is a room-only accommodation, but we provide cooking utensils, tableware, basic seasonings, and rice, so you can cook your own meals.There are very few convenience stores and restaurants in the area, so please prepare food and drinks before entering Uya. Kazura Bridge in Sooya is about 10 minutes away by car.The BBQ, Irori, and Hagama Rice experiences are paid options that require advance reservation.
