Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nakafurano, Sorachi District

Karl was the perfect host. He kept in touch, making sure we enjoyed a seamless check-in, easy parking, recommendations for places to eat etc. We loved our stay, especially with some extra elbow room, washing machine, kitchen ameneties and a lovely comfortable bed. We wish we had booked more than two nights here as a full day in Daisetsuzan NP gave us little time to explore Higashikawa. Thanks Karl. Your home away from home is a gem.

Peaceful surroundings, convenient house with a fully equipped kitchen. Extremely sweet hosts! They warned us they don’t speak English, but they were so fun and easy to communicate with:) They’ve assisted us, super patiently, with connecting our Japanese car reservation and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. They also had great recommendations around. The place is not new so some things don’t look squeaky clean, but it definitely feels like they are doing the very best to make it a home during your stay. Sheets and towels very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

Gastheer Jonishi San is erg vriendelijk en attent! Hij heeft met liefde Pippu-house gemaakt. We voelden ons thuis en hadden alles wat we nodig hadden in het huis om te ontspannen. Handig supermarkt en lekkere izakaya vlakbij.

Host was very responsive, very helpful and also helped with day to day queries. Helped us book restaurant as well locally. Great homely feel to the place. Kitchen/bar is great space to hang out

Clean and pristine, had all the amenities we required. Pillows were really hard though, but that could be just personal preference. Walkable distance to supermarket, convenience store, great coffee from Yoshida Coffee, Chateraise, Toriton Sushi... Check in took a while as the assigned agent took some time to respond to our call, through no fault of the host.

Very pleasant stay at this property. Despite being situated in a quiet and remote town, the unique architecture of the property makes the stay interesting and cozy. Although the space is small, the sleeping areas are still decent at an amazing price

If you love cooking, just close your eyes, make your reservation now. This place will be your paradise. If you are a digital nomad, it is very ideal with a long table and a good wifi for you to work.  The host is a very attentive person, uses quality products for this place, you can tell the host spends effort to make this place great. The bedroom is like a typical Ikea showcase. The mattress is very comfortable. Blankets and pillows are very clean. The bathroom looks new to me. The kitchen has all the equipment & utensils  to make a restaurant quality dish. The house is just like a typical N.America house, kept in good condition,  just like new.  The location is very convenient, 20 mins of walk to  2 supermarkets & coin laundry, only 10 mins to 2 convenient stores. The host even offered me a ride from the bus stop to the house, and to a better spot with a direct bus to the airport on check out. If an A means good, the host is an A+. Will I come back? Big Yes, no hesitation.

A value for money accommodation. My family stay in the house in late May when the weather is very nice and we do not need any air conditioning (not provided). We have our own mobile phone data plan so we do not need WiFi (not provided). There are a few nice restaurants and convenience stores nearby. There is sufficient parking place for only one car.

The Lavender Breeze Furano House is a charming stay located on the 1st floor, making it easily accessible. The check-in instructions were straightforward and hassle-free, ensuring a smooth arrival. The house is well-equipped with all the promised amenities, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were exceptionally cozy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep, and the location was fantastic—close to local attractions while remaining peaceful. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

A very quiet location, but still somewhat close to restaurants and convenience stores. Space is modern, functional, and clean. We do not speak Japanese, so using the washer/dryer and water heater was confusing for us, but Yume was able to show us how it worked. Furano has a small-town vibe, with not much happening after 8pm. Seems like most folks wake up very early and go to bed early. Sunrise was before 5am! Parking was not too challenging. There is a dedicated parking spot in front of the unit, but not much drive way. We always backed into the spot, but this means stopping in the street to back in. Luckily this street is not too busy so we never blocked traffic. We liked Yume’s place and wouldn’t mind staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was located between Furano and Biei. We were able to do everything we wanted within the few days we stayed. Thank you for having us!

This place is amazing. My big family and I were so impressed and had a great rest ever. The location is just perfect for someone who likes a quiet area and close to famous hotspots in Asahikawa! Please note that it’s on the third floor without the lift; however, the host offers a free parking spot. I just loved this place so much that I wanted to stay for a month instead of two days. :) I wish to comeback for winter.

The place was clean and we found everything we needed to cook here. It was very close to the station and easy to reach. All necessary information was given and the host always responded right away.

Three bedroom apartment on the 5th floor had amazing views from all rooms. We enjoyed the space. We had difficulty getting in as they sent the wrong code but it was rectified immediately which was impressive. It is a hard walk in the snow with ski gear as it is an uphill walk but luckily we had a car and used the carpark at the gondola. The car parking next to the accomodation was reserved for those that had a permit which we paid a small fee for and this was worth it. Would definitely stay again if we were to return.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect; a short walk to the Kitanomine Gondola and restaurants nearby. The host was friendly and gave clear instructions.

My kids rated this place as their best Airbnb experience. We travelled as a family of 4 elderly, 3 kids and 2 adults. The place is very spacious and kinda newly renovated, we definitely felt at home during the stay. There were toys, games, magazines to keep us entertained. So glad to have met Miki cooking delicious curry on our way out, its a pity that we didn't have chance to try it as we are out almost whole day. Based on smell, I can tell it should be very tasty. Bout the smell, there was hardly any when we come back every night. This place is like one of the highlight in our trip, very convenient when travelling around Furano and Asahikawa.

Superb place to stay in! You won’t regret it! The place is beautiful, well maintained and equipped with everything you need. Everything is precisely matching with the photos and descriptions. You get what you see. All About Furano is such a helpful and friendly host that we had a silky smooth experience throughout the entire stay. Stayed at Kaku Place in Furano. The accommodation was easy to find and a walkable distance to several restaurants and the ski area of Kitanomine, Furano. Keyless check-in and check-out was straightforward. The accommodation was comfortable and nicely furnished. All in all, a great base to explore the Furano area from. We found it handy to have a hire car for trips into town and to other scenic areas. However, if you just wanted to ski from Kitanomine, the walk to the Gondola is fairly short.

Very wonderful place, room is perfect! I will highly recommend this Airbnb.
