This is the location where the movie "Father of the Galactic Railroad" was filmed and released in May 2023.Mankatsu Shoten also appears in that movie.The scene of the used bookstore of "Gisho Hiroshi-san" was taken at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car.Come and see what battles you've had here. There are not a lot of tourists like other tourist destinations, so you can have the city life to yourself.Iwamura fans will continue to come. After 4 pm, you'll be surprised by the eerie silence.Walking down the main street at night, you'll see a row of paper lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the "summer solstice" day, the sunset falls straight ahead of the street and you can see the very beautiful scenery.(Depending on the weather, about 1 week, around 6:30 pm, around mid-June of each year) We also operate retro kimono rentals and dressing in this building.If you would like to wear a kimono, please make a reservation.Guests staying with us will have a discounted price. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo, it has a historic townscape that has flourished as a production area for Kiso lacquerware since the Edo period. It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been designated as a Jūdenden Kenpon Zone and still has lacquerware shops lining the streets. Our house is available for rent as a whole, limited to one group per day, without meals. It takes a little time to get around, and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores in this area, but I think that's why this place has quietness and the beauty of casual, simple everyday life. I would be happy if you could stay as if you were living in this good old town, reading, taking walks, enjoying local drinks (sake, wine), sleeping in and waking up slowly. It is an old house in a mountain valley, and there are no screen doors, so in the warm season, wildlife may come in. The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail. We are preparing to welcome you with the house as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with an open mind. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to take care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely.
