Access to sea, mountains and fresh water. Approximately 50 km of marked hiking trails on site. Cafeteria about 1 km from the place, possibilities for renting a boat and kayak on site. This is an older building from 1930 that has been partially renovated with kitchen, bathroom and 2nd floor with bedroom. Due to a lot of lime in the water, it may look like bathtubs, toilets, sinks and partly also cups are not cleaned. This is due to lime deposits from the lime in the water, and can give the impression of poor cleaning.

Hytta ligger bare 40 minutter fra Steinkjer og gir deg enkel tilgang til toppturer til Ferjeheia, Svårråheia, Svartvassheia og fiske i Langvatnet, Lissferja og Storferja. Hytta har enkel standard, innsjekk uten vert, toalett inne i hytta, skiturer eller bading.
