Beachfront holiday rental in Nanaimo

This carriage home was the perfect space for 2 people. Incredibly clean, private and quiet with a beautiful view of the water. Great location, 5 minute walk down the hill to Lower Gibsons. Christi was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is really special and exactly as it looks in the photos (but better in person!) We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace in the mornings, and listening to the local birds in the trees that surround the cabin. The view from the terrace is really magnificent!! We also indulged in the wood fired hot tub to make the most out of the beautiful forest surroundings. This stay was really one to remember, and I'm already dreaming about coming back another time. The roadside parking space had plenty of room for one car, two vehicles would be a tight squeeze.

Very clean and tidy, exactly as described. Responsive and helpful host, beautiful view, and enjoyed the various birds and deer. Highly recommend!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

Our long weekend was absolutely outstanding! The location was stellar and we saw jumping fish, herons, and seals daily. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some delicious meals and we felt right at home. It was a rainy weekend but the home had games and a beautiful wood fireplace to keep us warm. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Our daughter had her first sleep in a “big girl bed” at your house, and our dog slept soundly on the floor beside her. We had the best sleep of our lives with the window cracked and the sound of the ocean. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here for a relaxing anniversary weekend with our dog and we had such a great time. The suite was clean, well laid out, and comfortable. Dean and Amanda were lovely hosts and we felt right at home. Not to mention the beautiful view from the patio. The easy access to the beach allowed us to walk down with our dog for a peaceful evening stroll. Overall, we had a fantastic time staying here and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family hoping to visit Gibsons. Thanks Amanda and Dean!

Tania’s cabin felt like going home, but with the added bonus of being located on a beautiful, private section of lake overlooking provincial park land. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy the lake and nearby trail systems. Directly behind the cabin is a steep, paved pathway down to the dock and beach - both were hands down the highlight of our stay - spacious and set up for relaxing, while also acting as a launch point for paddle boards and kayaks. The cabin was also incredibly comfortable for our dogs - Tania added thoughtful touches just for them including comfy beds, treats, and towels. I especially appreciated the large, working grill on the back deck overlooking the water. This made meal prep easy and an absolute joy. We will be back!

Hello, My friend and I stayed there 2 days. The place is so peaceful and has everything you might need. They, hosts, were really friendly and helpful for us. Whenever we ask something, they respond really quickly. We didn’t face any issues either home or hosts. Also, we would love to stay there in summer again, i am sure the place will be more beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who looking for accommodation in this area.

This was a perfect place to stay while we were visiting Vancouver Island. The location made it easy to explore other areas of the Island as a day trip. The condo itself is situated right across from the pool and hot tub as well as the beach trail which we were able to enjoy while we were staying. Overall, the condo is equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay and the host was easy to contact and responded quickly. I would recommend this airbnb!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Maria's place. We felt like home away from home, everything was comfortable and as described in the Airbnb. Her place is prefect for a family weekend getaway, we really love the patio with gas BBQ . We will definitely book again next time we are in Nanaimo!

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

My boyfriend and I booked an early birthday getaway at Raylene's suite. It was spotless and very nicely decorated. The view was amazing! Walking around the beach and rocks at sunset was beautiful. The bed was SOOOOO comfy!!!! Communication was excelleny and Raylene was very helpful and super friendly. Can't wait to return for another beautiful relaxing stay! Thank you Raylene!!

The unit is the main floor of a beautiful new house. It’s pristine. Both bedrooms had big comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed including a bottle of wine. But the highlight is the view of Departure Bay. We watched a seal in the morning while sitting on the patio with our coffee. In the evening the ferries pass with gleaming lights. We walked on the shore. There were people swimming a little distance away. Sailboats on the horizon. A hovering eagle. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Gibsons is one of my favourite communities to visit in BC, third time now in the last few years. We have never had a chance to stay along the water so when we saw Ashley's unit available on AirBnB we spontaneously booked it and made the trip to Gibsons for the last few days of our time off. Such a beautiful and relaxing experience, and close to town if you want to walk to some of the great coffee shops and local restaurants. Being right along the water was refreshing in the mornings with our coffee (which Ashley has a great coffee machine), or relaxing in the afternoon reading inside on the couch that faced the ocean, or the evening post-meal walk on the sand and pebble beach. Excited to come back here in the future. Definitely recommend. Great value and great experience.

Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

Nice place. Very private. About a 25 minute walk down to the beach along a beautiful path. The sauna was really nice to have, but a bit muddy to get to it. Kitchen and living room area were beautiful and perfect for hanging out, dining and playing games. Great location to get into Gibsons and Sechelt.

We had the most dreamy few days at the cottage. Rain or shine this place is amazing. Inside is so comfortable, well decorated and stocked with everything you need. Part of the deck outside is covered so you can enjoy even in the rain. It felt like an absolute oasis from our busy lives - exactly what we needed! The hosts were super responsive and helpful. We will be back!

beautiful room....very clean beautiful resort...the view from the room isn't that great but the resort it self has many places to enjoy the views ...restaurant the food was amazing hot tub was great
