Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. Perfect for hill-walking, climbing, cycling, writing, painting, or simply being off the beaten track. Wood/solid fuel fires on ground floor. Sheets, towels &c are provided. Secure cycle storage. The Vaynol Arms, our only local pub is 5 minutes walk. Llanberis: about 5 miles.
