It was a very beautiful and lovely home, partly because it had just opened.The design of the house, the furniture, and the appliances, all of them were well thought out, and it was easy to use.There was a table by the pool, and it was great to be able to eat together.Also, the host's response was quick and kind, which was helpful.Early check-in and late check-out are available for a fee, but they were flexible.This stay was a wonderful experience.Thank you very much.

Our group of 7 fit comfortably and felt right at home. Shopping, food, and train stations were a close walk. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. I cannot recommend this home or our host enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tomio’s place! The house was cozy and quiet – compact from the outside but surprisingly roomy inside. The space is beautifully designed with a perfect mix of modern comforts and traditional Japanese touches. The location was ideal for us, with easy access to Colton Plaza Shopping Mall, the Chiba Museum of Science & Industry, and Shapo. What truly made our trip special was Tomio’s kindness and hospitality. He was always responsive and genuinely friendly. Thoughtful touches like a welcome text, drinks, and snacks made us feel right at home immediately. We especially appreciated being able to use the bicycles – my husband loved cycling around the neighborhood and taking in the beautiful views along the Edo River. We’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ichikawa City. Thank you, Tomio, for contributing to such a wonderful experience!

We were completely satisfied with our stay at this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and fairly priced. Its location was ideal—just minutes from the train station, which made day trips outside the area incredibly convenient. It’s also close to restaurants, shopping, and other amenities, making it easy to enjoy the neighborhood. While the photos made the space appear larger, it was still just right for our group of four adults and four children. Having a washing machine in the unit was a great bonus. We were able to hang clothes outside to dry in the warm sun, and on days we needed a quicker turnaround, the laundromat was only a 5-minute walk away. Customer service was responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Overall, a great stay—we’d definitely recommend it!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Mieko-san’s place. It was very nice and extremely comfortable to stay at for the duration of my time in Japan. Mieko-san was very flexible in letting me make adjustments to my check-in when there were complications with my travel and overall was very kind. The place is a little far from Tokyo but well-connected and I did not have any trouble finding my way. Thank you for letting me stay in your very nice home Mieko-san!

Yume's place is located in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of food places to eat, very kind people, and easily walkable. The station and the konbini are very easy to get to. taking the Shinjuku line at the station to where you need to get to in Tokyo was very easy as well. The house itself was very clean and the beds were comfortable, it feels very homey. We'd love to visit again in the future.

This was our first time in Japan, and we brought our 2 large dogs. The host, Yu, was incredibly responsive and kind! For example, we had luggage shipped to this Airbnb, and Yu helped immensely with being the point-of-contact and even waiting for its arrival when we were not at the house. Our dogs loved the spacious outside area, and it was easy to keep them off of the tatami mats and beds because those rooms were separated by doors. The interior and exterior showed a beautiful, more traditional Japanese house. The beds were raised and comfortable, and the blankets/comforters kept us warm. The room heating units also worked very, very well! The free parking on the property was amazing! The house was stocked with plenty of supplies (towels, tissues, toothbrushes, shower supplies, etc.), perfect for our long stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware, and it was fun to use the outside BBQ grill. Thank you so much, Yu, for the wonderful stay at your house!

Top notch customer service in this beautiful house！ super clean and provide all the equipments we need for our six days stay. The owner is very malicious to provide little gifts and snacks when we arrived. They also offer lending us stroller which gave us a BIG help for the trip. Easy access, super lovely kids friendly neighborhood (lots of kids in this area). I would give a 10/10. Also, the layout of the floorplan is excellent for having 2 families while each family can stay at their own floor. We all had a very happy and wonderful time.

If you wish to experience Japanese countryside this is the spot. A beautiful traditional Japanese home with views of rice fields with many birds and if you’re lucky enough; tanuki! A walk or bike ride through the streets into town to everything you need for your stay. The host (sensei) exceeded our expectations showing us around town by bike, inviting us into his world and always checkin in making sure we’re okay. Truly so appreciative for this experience. A tranquil stay.

I loved staying here. It really felt like I lived on the street and the house is nice. It really is pretty high tech, especially with the bathrooms. It’s very quiet around the neighborhood. It’s about 10 minutes walk from Yotsugi station which has a cool dedication to a specific sports anime - find out for yourself :) Great hospitable team. Helped us know the good spots! A+++++
