Tulsi (auntie, we called her automatically - she gives that homely air) is warm and hospitable in the pretty homestay she hosts. It's filled with a myriad of different plants and decorated with little ornaments and baubles against a beautiful valley backdrop. She was very thoughtful in providing us delicious home cooked food specific to our needs (vegan), tea or coffee every morning and evening, and offered the services of staff member Dharam, who proved to be an excellent local driver, to take us to nearby Auli when we wanted a break from driving. Her daughter sent us local tips and places for visiting as well. I definitely intend to recommend the place to my friends and do the same for anyone looking for a peaceful, quaint and pretty place to stay.

The most serene and peaceful stay I've ever had been to. With cute furry friends to play with and amazing hosts to talk to, the place completely felt like a home away from home! It's perfect for family/group of friends to enjoy some quality time <3 Do go out for the forest walk nearby and enjoy the pristine beauty. (don't litter please)

My stay at XRA Homestay in Auli was spectacular! The homestay is nestled in a beautiful location, offering stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and surrounding valleys – it truly felt like a slice of paradise. The rooms were cozy, well-maintained, and offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The homestay has a very homely vibe, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Auli. XRA Homestay is a perfect base for adventures, with easy access to nearby trekking routes and the famous Auli Ski Resort. The host was very helpful in showing us around, giving us directions and answering any queries. Vivek really knows Auli well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Auli!

"We had an absolutely fantastic family stay at Manish's place. The atmosphere was friendly and peaceful, with the soothing sound of bird chirping in the background. The expansive lawn area allowed us to enjoy the outdoors, and we even had the option for lively music when we wanted. Complete privacy was a big plus, and we found a serene meditation area that added to the tranquility of the place. One unique aspect of this stay was the opportunity for clay making activities, which added an artistic and enjoyable touch to our visit. Manish's mother continued to be extremely helpful and homely, making our stay even more special. Bhandari ji, the caretaker, was exceptionally friendly and lively, always ready to assist with a smile. We couldn't have asked for a better host and caretaker. Highly recommended for those seeking a close-to-nature retreat with a wide range of activities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere."

When I think of what my expectations were of The Himalayan Mountains, this is what we would expect! This place was not only a little piece of heaven, so peaceful and serene. I had only wished to stay forever. Our hosts were so lovely and helpful and I will tell you from the street. It looks nothing like when you walk down and your breaths taken away by this gorgeous view. To wake with floor to ceiling window view of the mountains, so close, you can see people working in the fields. The terrace felt like an Italian countryside. The family was so lovely and helpful and the food, home-cooked and just so lovely. Anything we could want they would happily provide. Including evening bonfires and a nice cup of tea, even complimentary cake. We wish them so much success, and you need to make this a spot of your pilgrimage to Badrinath. We even had the inside scoop and special entry to Badrinath because the owners uncle worked in the temple. Forever garteful for this experience. Many blessing!

Heaven hills is truly Heaven! I spent a week there and would of stayed longer. My days were filled with hikes, quietness, nature, delicious food and service and incredible views of the surrounding Himalayas. Devendra went above and beyond to accommodate me and all that was on my bucket list : DEORIATAL LAKE - KEDARNATH TEMPLE - CHANDRASHILA & TUNGNATH TEMPLE, there are multiple ways to do it all and he will help you make it absolutely memorable! The food is also delicious and the team very professional. Just make sure you grab a sim card as there is no Wifi up there. Other than that, 5 stars on it all! Enjoy!

The cozy yet spacious cabin offered stunning views of the majestic mountains right from the window. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, offering local tips and ensuring a seamless experience. The proximity to the ski slopes made it an ideal location for winter sports enthusiasts. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene retreat in the lap of nature.

We really had a wonderful time with entire family. Entire family was very warm and welcoming. The kids specially, made my wife's birthday. They were with her the entire day and also got bouquets and hand made cards and also baked a cake for her. My wife and I will never forget the hospitality and warmth and the experience that we had the Ghariya House. We would definitely recommend given the view and the warmth that family adds. We are also planning to visit this amazing family again.
