Come sleep in history! The Nauvoo Manor affords you the opportunity to stay in a Nauvoo Mormon Pioneer home! This historic home is just seven blocks from the temple and sleeps up to nine comfortably. One of only a few Nauvoo red brick Pioneer homes not owned by The LDS church. The Manor is located next to the historic road to Carthage. Rufus Abbott started building this home in 1839 and finished it in 1845 just before his family left with Brigham Young to travel to Salt Lake City in Feb 1846.

Huge Classy Upstairs Victorian Apt with Jetted Tub

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. With two queen sized beds and a set of twins under the attic skylights everyone will find a restful place to restore for the day. A relaxing jetted tub also provides a rainfall shower with 3 acupuncture jets. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality cookware. This vintage treasure was built in 1884 and is a completely renovated upstairs unit. There is 2 bedroom unit below this one and the option to share a washer/dryer.

*No pets. *No smoking tobacco or weed. This 3 bed, 1 bath restored brick home is located in Keokuk, Iowa, just 12 miles south of Nauvoo, IL and 66 miles north of Hannibal, MO. Great location for a family vacation. Bathroom upstairs, not suitable for those with limited mobility. We have a new air conditioning system, house stays cool during the summer months. There is only one bathroom so if you have a large group, be prepared to share. There are plenty of extra towels.
