Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful place to be, then you found it. The Wildwood Cabin is nestled in a bosque of cottonwoods on the banks of the Animas river. The “Wildwood cabin” was built in 2012 at the rivers edge of our small farm as a guest house. Enjoy the use of our park to fish from the river bank, picnic or just enjoy the river during your stay at the cabin.

Explore the Four Corners region from this Southwest decorated casita on top of a mesa. From here you are within driving distance of all the great Four Corners destinations and outdoor activities. If your activities require parking a trailer, there is plenty of room on our 3/4 acre lot. You'll find three comfortable bedrooms that will sleep six people. There is also a sofa bed that can accommodate one more if needed.
