Absolutely great place to stay, the host was very kind and gave us great advice. The place was well-equipped, clean, and quiet. Hot tub was very nice, beds very comfortable. Parking big enough. The place was about 10 minutes by car to a large shopping center. Highly recommend!

My wife went to Amboise and were fortunate enough to discover this hidden gem of a private holiday home. The privacy and tranquility of the place were nothing short of amazing. It was the ideal setting for a couples' getaway, allowing us to truly disconnect from our everyday routines and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Amboise. My wife was absolutely delighted with the ambiance – the peaceful surroundings offered us a chance to reconnect and enjoy each other's company without any distractions. Of course, the lovely pool added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. My wife and I spent hours lounging by the pool, and relishing the warm sun. It provided the perfect backdrop for creating beautiful memories together.

A short but intense stay in a very quiet and serene place. The atmosphere was colorful with Halloween decorations and warmed up by the very appreciable hot tub at the end of the day. A few relaxing nights for beautiful days of adventures in the area!

Had a pleasant stay at Isabelle's. I was tremendously welcomed and advised for visits during my stay. The accommodation is very well placed to visit the castles of the Loire Valley. Accommodation is as described and nice for a few days.

We enjoyed our stay, the cottage was nice and roomy, true to the photos. Great value for the price. Agnès left plenty of recommendations, which would've been helpful if we didn't already have our itinerary planned. The only restaurant within walking distance was delicious, so that was a plus. I don't know that it would've been convenient if we didn't have our own vehicle. Definitely do your research on public transit if you aren't driving in. If you plan to rent a bike, be prepared for a bit of an uphill. Also worth mentioning because it wasn't clear in the listing: we were provided an absolute minimum of the basics (e.g. not even a full roll of toilet paper, nearly empty bottle of shower gel, tiny amount of olive oil left in the kitchen). For a short stay, you may want to bring your basics from home to avoid having to stock up unnecessarily on items you won't finish during your stay.

Very spacious and very clean extraordinary rental, very functional...peaceful: a real little haven of peace located in the middle of the tourist sites of the Loire castles. House located in a park with trees, fruit trees, games for children, barbecue... really everything was perfect... and Eric was really charming, listening to us, very welcoming. It is clear that if we return to the sector, we will return to Éric.

Extremely comfortable rural gite, excellent walks for the dog from the front door, well appointed property, beautiful old building with historic features, local village was very pretty with really good amenities, well positioned for visiting places. Wood burner good for evenings and wood provided. The host was wonderful and lived next door. Available for help if required. He and his wife were super helpful with local contacts when my partner required medical help.

Accommodation very close to the zoo that we recommend without problem, which respects the description and is very clean and quiet. Thank you Agnès for your accommodation

Very nice accommodation. Clean, pleasant, quiet. The terrace is really nice. Well located for making the castles of the Loire Valley. Good bedding. Ludovic is very kind. We will come back without hesitation. No air conditioning, which would probably be a problem in the summer.

Nice cottage with a large lawn behind it. Madeleine's cottage is next door, the terraces are adjacent to each other (she crosses the terrace to get to her house), so when she is there, there is less privacy. That wasn't a problem for us. She was very friendly and super helpful during our stay. Bakker and Lidl within walking distance. Chaumont-sur-Loire is a nice village nearby. Blois and Amboise are both nice to visit.

We had a wonderful weekend in this cottage. Laura and Fabien were very welcoming and gave us good advice. We were not very far from Tours and activities to do. Really great!

Sandra's rental is nice, very quiet, 20 minutes' drive to some beautiful castles. The bedding is quality and the accommodation was very clean. The terrace is nice, spacious and the pool is in direct proximity. I recommend it!

Peaceful haven, perfect for a restful night after a long drive! Helene and her husband are very welcoming, the place is beautiful and of great quality! Located a few minutes from several castles, the location is perfect for visiting the surroundings in a few days. I highly recommend it!!

If you want to explore Amboise we highly recommend this little gem. It is very conveniently located just few minutes outside Amboise with lots of people privacy. Ideal for couples ans people traveling with bikes. The hosts make you feel right at home!

We had a lovely stay in Catherine's cottage. It is situated in a beautiful area and just what you need after a day of sightseing and visiting castles. The cottage is small but cosy with everything you need. There is an outside area where we had our meals overlooking the forest and nature around us. We were welcomed by Catherine and communication was easy as her daughter speaks English fluently. I highly recommend this place for a lovely breakaway.

Very pleasant stay, with a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and the living room/kitchen downstairs. The village of Monthou-sur-Cher is centrally located in the region where many castles are (famous castles such as Chambord, Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont, Amboise, Blois, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry and Valençay are at most 1 hour's drive from the accommodation, often it is only a half hour's drive. The valley is very quiet and rural and pleasant to the eye. We also visited attractive places such as Montrésor, Loches, Fougères-sur-Bièvre and Montrichard. In total we stayed here for a week, it could have been 2, because there is so much to see and do. For city dwellers like us, it was nice to stay here and enjoy the silence. All you will hear is birds and frogs. In a meadow nearby, ponies and horses graze. Delicious shower (also rain shower), excellent bed. It was nice to have breakfast and dinner at a kind of bar. The kitchen is modern and well equipped.

Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, quiet - a wonderful place to explore the Loire Valley - convenient to Chambord,Chenonceau and Blois for tours and markets.
