The place is clean, it offers what is mentioned on the site. Vlad, who greeted us warmly - even though we were 2 hours late - was very friendly. Helped us keep the fire up for the outside tub while we were gone, provided us charcoal for the grill and was constantly available. The pictures are accurate enough and the 5 stars we are giving are all related to the experience with the hosts, exceptional. We also feel that is was quite expensive, at least for the New Years Eve period (when we went), it had a price of a luxury chalet, and is rather a picturesque, rustic place. Maybe the price was that high due tot the period that we chose, when almost nothing else was available. Nonetheless we would highly recommend the place for other people to stay.

The start was a bit more hassle but everything else was great. Was proportioned even bed mate, a sweet, friendly and very generous cat with cuddles ❤️ Everything very good, I will repeat when I come to the top of Toaca.

I had the chance to stay in this quiet natural paradise for a couple of days. I appreciated how easy ot was to walk around in nature, woods and rivers areas. The home was big, i was surprised by the wifi powerful fiber connection, that for me is essential. the traditional gas kitchen was easy to use and super equipped for my convenience, which was handy. in 2 minutes walk I could reach little food shops for buying my breakfast, fresh fruits and veggies or enjoying a simple local meal in some simple local restaurant. the perfect switch off from the city hectic life. I could probably suggest to make available some more coffee and milk or similar essentials but honestly for the price I paid it was really good value for money I paid. I am very satisfied. the host Iustin is incredibly fast in responding to my enquiries, calm and available for suggestions and info.

A beautiful house, functional in a very nice garden off the road a little busy. We came in the summer and enjoyed its many nooks in the shade and cool of its hot tub. The hosts are lovely and very attentive. They advised us on sightseeing nearby and were responsive to the few requests we made to them.

We had the most wonderful stay at Cristina’s home. Located high on the mountainside, the view is beautiful; there are several terraces to enjoy the view. The house is clean, spacious, with a lot of thoughtful details- multiple light sources, USB charging ports, motion-activated lights. The kitchen is well equipped, with an espresso machine, microwave, oven, and any utensil you could ever need. We had everything we needed right there. The hosts are very nice and helpful, they put a lot of work into the house and the yard- and it shows. Beautiful flowers, a swing, blackberries that the guests can pick, a grill, and a large boil pot on the covered patio. Soon there will be a pool too. There is a bedroom and bath downstairs, and 3 bedrooms, each with own bath on the 1st floor. On the second floor there is an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, livingroom. The hosts waited for us with tuica, fresh fruit and flowers. Thank you, Cristina, for your hospitality. We hope to be back soon!

The apartment is great, with a comfortable bed and nice kitchen. It's location is very good for anyone who wants to go on a day hike in the mountains. I highly recommend it!

Holiday Village exceeded our expectations and truly felt like a home away from home. Our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The on-site amenities were a real highlight—both the sauna and jacuzzi were absolutely amazing, providing the perfect way to unwind and relax. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always available to assist with anything we needed and offering great local tips. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. We will definitely return and highly recommend Holiday Village to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emma's property. Emma was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed during the stay. Great place for relaxation and many places nearby to visit and explore.

Mrs. Mili and the husband were very kind and welcoming. They gave us information about the route we wanted to go on, they offered us wood for the barbecue and made us coffee in the morning. As a heads up the listing is posted with whole villa, we were 5 people but there was another family staying in one of the rooms that didn't bother us with anything but maybe it was good to mention from the beginning as actually it is not the entire house provided. Otherwise I totally recommend everything was very ok and if you go for the route from Ceahlau as a position the house is very close to the start of one of the trails from Rau.

The check-in process was easy and transparent. The hosts are a lovely family and this is apparent from all the toys and amenities. Everything is clean and even better than what you can recognize from the photos, big rooms, great mattresses and a lot of room to run around, relax, play or grill. Just great. Will definitely return.
