The apartment was exactly as described with most of the amenities you could need for a long term stay. Looked well taken care of and was generally clean upon arrival. The location was great and I didn't encounter any problems with external noise - you do hear noise from the corridors such as doors opening/closing although this is largely to be expected. There was a slight damp smell in the bathroom, not sure if this is down to the drains or the ventilation system not working correctly (it didn't seem to be doing anything). The hot water appeared slightly cloudy and white, but likely due to hard water. Lots of storage space, fully equipped kitchen with many appliances and lots of counter space. Many power outlets around the room which was very useful. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to any questions I had, and the checkin/checkout process was very quick. Overall great value for money and would highly recommend.

A lovely lovely place to stay for two weeks! The buildings are beautiful and right by the river, the flat is comfortable and clean, and the whole place has a sense of community that it was fun to dip into. Would absolutely stay here again while visiting Sheffield.

Great place, central to all amenities

Great value for money. The bed is comfortable and the shower was fine. It does get quite hot in the room due to the window not opening much, but for the price of this place, I can't complain! It does the job and lived up to the photos and description. The check in application is a bit extreme with a lot of personal info needed, feeling slightly intrusive, but it's not a huge problem. The hosts were very communicative and reception is there 24 hours if needed.

Great stay in a prime location. The apartment was very comfy and spotless. Everything was as described in the listing. The host is welcoming and responsive. I recommend this to other travellers.

Had a really good time staying at Stephan’s place. He was super quick to respond to any messages, which made everything easy. The flat was clean and matched the listing. Check-in was smooth — the directions were clear (my bad for not reading them properly at first!). The location is great, really close to the city and a popular coffee spot. Had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. This was my second stay here and would definitely stay here again when visiting Sheffield.

Bob and Paula are lovely hosts. Helpful from the minute we arrived at their beautiful and peaceful property!! And the alpacas and the puppies are a complete joy! The cottage is spotless and warmly furnished. The location is perfect. Not too far from local attractions but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. If we had to do it again we would have stayed much longer. Thank you to our outstanding hosts!!!

Exactly as described. Perfect little apartment, plenty of space, nice and clean and within walking distance of the town but also Kelham Island, which is somewhere we fell in love with. Parking on the same street which was really cheap for the whole weekend! Host responded to any queries straight away and were super helpful! Everything was perfect and we'll definitely be booking to stay here again soon.

great place to stay for work. leave car in car park and walk. the appartment is clean and modern with all you need for your stay. great host F, who met me in person and walked me through the property.

Our stay was great it was in perfect location for activities around the apartment block and was so easy to find on the way back. The best thing was the bed it’s hugeeee and was one of the best sleeps I’ve ever had.

Had a great stay recently at Patrick's place. Really great property. Super clean, super close to everything with some great restaurants and cool bars close by. Place was quiet, well appointed and comfy. Patrick was great at staying in touch and making sure we had everything we needed. Totally recommended and I'll be back MJ

Spent Christmas at the house and had a great time. Kitchen was well equipped and served us well. The gym and the games room kept us busy and amused. Host was really responsive and helpful. Overall a great place to stay and definitely recommended.

Idyllic stay in the beautiful Peak District. Lyndas special cottage was a treat, beautiful and cosy, with soft colored walls and tasteful fabrics , personal antiques, little touches in every corner. A good little kitchen, very comfortable bed and linens everything we needed and then some. Located Just outside friendly and vibrant Matlock. Wonderful walks from the property and a perfect place to explore the whole area. Lynda is a talented interior designer and it was a treat to get to stay in her delightful cottage. My dog was also welcome and loved the garden space that was ours. Lynda was very helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit with her love of the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back.

Victoria and Sam were so welcoming and friendly. They really made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They had lots of good recommendations for us too. The location is super convenient with lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Kelham Island is fantastic, very cool, artistic and inspirational. Victoria and Sam’s house is beautiful. Lovely big room to stay in with a high ceiling, big windows, and surprisingly calm and quiet. We slept with the windows open and all we could hear were birds and the nearby river. Really recommend staying here!

Dan has a fabulous home, very modern, the bed was so comfy, lovely modern kitchen, outdoor space and seating - it was so easy to find and super quiet. Perfect for Asda, and a short walk to the horse racing. Thanks so much Dan! Taxi from the station for a fiver x

Pauls place was a lovely property ,nice and quiet.Paul was very accommodating and was a brilliant host .The bed was so cosy,the bath was luxurious and we had our own lounge with a large tv and paul even supplied yoga mats.Thanks Paul

This is a lovely place, very central to Holmfirth. We had clear instructions of where to find it on the day, and we were met at the property (tucked away down an alley) by the lovely friendly Ollie. There was milk in the fridge and a good handbook of the house and things to do. The beds were comfy and the house was lovely and warm. (Tip - take warm socks or slippers for the tiled kitchen and bathroom) Parking at the near by 'Crown Bottom' carpark was easy and cheap.
