Holiday rentals with lake access in New Buffalo Township

We rented this property for our family with two little children. Although a bit small , it worked well for our needs. Lovely area, with a short pleasant walk to Lake Michigan beaches. We used to live in this neighborhood so it was very nice to revisit the area.

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

Nothing but great things to say / check-in was seamless and communication was perfect. The place was also top notch of course.

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

Comfortable & peaceful home right on the lake! We enjoyed the cottage for several days while visiting family nearby. It was a great place for our family of 4.

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

We come to this area often to see family, often for larger gatherings, and this is the second time we spent time at Courtney & Garrett’s place - last time, other out of town family stayed here and we all had dinner at their house. The hosts were always quick to reply to our messages, and offered several suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Their place is clean with personal touches, and my favorite design mix of modern and vintage. It has newer architectural elements and appliances, along with antique/classic furniture and design pieces so it doesn’t feel sterile like you’re sitting in a showroom at a furniture store but still feels clean and modern. The house has all the things one might need, is set in a private and beautiful location & is literally surrounded by nature, viewable through tons of floor to ceiling windows. We had a lovely stay and I’m sure we’ll come back again!

I was looking for a cozy spot with a jacuzzi for a weekend celebration for my husband’s birthday and it was so much more than that. Carlo was super helpful with recommendations and quick to respond back. Such a great area to walk around and explore. We loved staying here and are looking to book later again this year!

This was one of the very best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Very clean. Very well stocked. Communicative host. And things that were convenient were provided. For instance, beach toys and a beach blanket. Also-we had four people in our party and the space was just a perfect size to have some personal space or to meet all together. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

The Neighborhood Hotel is located in a fantastic spot in New Buffalo, making it super easy to park in your assigned parking spot and walk everywhere downtown. The property is beautifully finished inside and out, and the A/C works great. There are lots of community outdoor space with different seating moments to accomidate your needs. The only issue we had was that the wifi was very spotty/did not work on the first day of our stay throughout the property, but it worked great on the second day. Overall I would recommend this property as a great hybrid hotel/AirBnB rental for anyone looking to explore New Buffalo!

This unit was very comfortable and very spacious. It really has everything you need - towels galore, pool and beach amenities (chairs,noodles,cooler,etc), cleaning products, extra mirrors, cords, kitchen stuff - even those toiletries that you might have forgotten. The beds and bedding were very comfortable which is always lovely on a vacation! Patricia was so easy to work with and always answered my questions quickly. The pool was nicely heated and clean. The beach was mostly deserted so I felt like it was my private beach! The walkway down to the beach is paved and renting the golf cart made it even more of an adventure to go up and down that hill! I plan to be back!

Erica's listing was great. I would stay there again for sure. amazing communication and since the place was not booked before or after she gave us early check in/late check out if we wanted to utilize it.

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Third stay in two weeks. Everything about the cottage and grounds is perfect and I am already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

What a beautiful location! Loved all the trees, beautiful yard to play games, super big fire pit, deck and grill was spotless! The inside was nice and spacious for the size. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The basement was large! We had an incredible time. Would come back for a longer vacation!

Wonderful little get away. Visited with another couple. The cottage is so cute and was everything that was described in the listing. There were travel guides o. the table, and the location was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Thank you sp much for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay. Christine is a really good host. The house was clean, and the back yard is great. The only thing is that the access to the beach is a bit challenging than described. But, overall, we had a great expereince at Christine's place.

What a beautiful place! So comfortable. One of my favorite things was waking up early to the sound of birds. ❤️ Chriselle and her cohosts were wonderful. They were very responsive and gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat. My husband and I ended up getting Tapas. but yeah it was awesome. Five stars for flint lake cottage. :)
