Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Castle County

A wonderful Airbnb! Beautifully decorated & maintained with a classy antique meets modern aesthetic. Clean, comfy, great temperature regulation, amazing beds! Room for all of us too be in the house and have space as needed. Lovely hosts. Neighborhood felt super safe, plenty to do and yummy places to eat nearby and within a 30 min drive. We could not have asked for anything better for our stay. Would have stayed longer if we could have extended our trip! Thank you!

My family and I had a nice stay. It was easy to get to from the Philadelphia airport. The house and the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Kat, the hostess, was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely choose Kat’s house again!

The location and amenitires of this Air B&B were wonderful. We loved the on-site parking, the spaciousness of the place, and the washer and dryer. We had everything that we could want. The only problem is the noise from the street. It starts very early in the morning so wear ear plugs at night or plan to rise early.

We visit Delaware City every year, but don’t usually stay right in town. It was great to have a spot so close to the family we visit this year! We traveled with our 3 kids(ages 6, 4, 2) and the space met our needs. The master bedroom is downstairs, attached to the only bathroom. The bed was comfortable, although softer than we prefer. The 2 other bedrooms are upstairs - These beds were much firmer. We loved that the house had a fenced backyard for the kids to run around in. The kitchen had a Keurig machine and a nice selection of k-cups. We used the Roku TV without any difficulty. Each room had an AC unit that worked well. Mu only complaint would be that the lighting was low in some rooms, though the weather was cloudy during our stay so it would have been better with some sunshine through the windows.

Dennis place felt like home! House was equipped with everything you need, love the extra touch of “He’s the Dj, I’m the Rapper” album(WP). Great places to eat near home and walking distance. El Toro Mexican Grill & Cantina had the best fish tacos! Dennis is easy to communicate with and will stay at his home again.

Michael’s place was exactly as described. Easy to find everything you needed as well as leaving food and beverages very unexpected but very pleased. Would not hesitate to stay here again very peaceful location with access to everything you need around you

We stayed this past weekend and were very happy with our stay. The house was clean, many amenities, the host gave detailed instructions. The check-in and out process was very easy. We were able to request a later checkout which was so helpful for our travel plans. The home was very cozy and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

Sandra’s Casita was the perfect spot for our long weekend visiting friends and family, and she was the perfect host. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!

Very convenient for me. Close to Dover, so I can visit my Mom. Close to Smyrna. Away from the hustle and bustle. Clayton is a cute little town. Restaurant nearby and liquor store. Place is solid. Bedroom is nice and den with TV has a futon. Kitchen is fine.

This was the perfect place to stay! I moved to Wilmington temporarily for work and this air bnb was the perfect spot! It was just the right size for me to stay in and had everything that I needed. It was in a very convenient location, close to downtown and a safe area. Regina was always very responsive if I had any questions and also have great local recommendations! If I come back to Wilmington at any point I would definitely stay here again!

Johnny is truly a super host. After a botched housing situation for my external rotations, I found Johnny’s place. It was clean, peaceful, safe and walkable. The parking garage is a huge bonus, no circling the block to find a spot. Johnny is responsive, friendly and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks for the respite Johnny!

Excellent location, laundry and parking. Great food / restaurant nearby. Walkable to train station. We had the airbnb to settle in our college student for her internship and I remote worked from there. Nice place and we will be back end of summer! Jeff was very helpful to our questions and super responsive. Above and beyond for sure! Highly recommend.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location to park your car and walk everywhere around historic New Castle. Inside was adorable & comfortable. Amenities provided were a great touch (water, snacks, coffee, tea, toiletries for shower, towels, etc). Bed was super comfy with luxuriously soft bedding! In the front closet for our use was 2 folding chairs, 2 umbrellas and 2 ponchos. Restaurants were across the street and within a block or two walk. Our favorites were Jessop’s Tavern, Rancho Azteca Restaurant and the Mercury Cafe and Tea House. The park and walk along the waterfront was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. The hosts were great and we thank them for sharing this place with us.

The location was very good, walkable to a beautiful park, a lovely river walk and a zoo! Easy car ride to stores and some of Wilmigton's best tourist sites.

Excellent location. Really convenient with super strong WiFi. Such a cool neighborhood and for that reason parking can be a little tough at night. Just plan for that.

Marc place was a little piece of paradise looking over a wide vista of trees and distant beautiful architecture ….. street parking was no problem and it was close to everywhere it seemed! It was quiet and secluded and cosy warm ☺️

Erica’s place is like being at home. The host are so kind & respectful. I loved the stocked kitchen , the cozy fire place , and the local recommendations that Erica added in the guest manual. I’m in love with the place as a whole , it’s very convenient & any questions I had Erica responded quickly ! 10/10 !

Nicely designed lower lever of the house with just 6-7 steps down, easy access from the driveway in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the kitchen with a gas stove, good quality stainless steel cooking pots, full size fridge and nice window overlooking flowers in the backyard. Also bathroom has a large hotel quality shower and plenty of extra towels. Bedrooms had extra blankets, pillows and sheets.The only thing I wished was, that the beds were firmer, but if you like soft mattresses you are going enjoy the place. Thank you Kitty for letting us to stay at your lovely apartment.
