Perfect location - with in walking distance to two lakes and many amenities!!! The home was very clean and everything that you need was provided for an outstanding vacation. We took our two golden retrievers and the fenced in side yard made it very convenient to sit outside around the fire pit. The hosts were always available for any questions. We highly recommend a stay at this home!!!!

This was a great spot to relax and recharge for a couple days. Prior to my visit, I stocked up on groceries and did not leave until checkout. It was peaceful to just sit on the deck in the warm weather and watch the ice begin to melt on the river. I would definitely return, even in the winter/early spring as it is a great place to enjoy some quiet and a good view.

Once again, Mark and Sally were the greatest of hosts. It was so wonderful to see them again and to catch up on the happenings in each other lives. Our dietary needs have changed since our previous visits with Mark and Sally, but they easily accommodated our new diet at breakfast. Thank you Mark and Sally for taking such good care of us, and we hope to stay with you again soon.

We enjoyed our stay. We flew in from Texas for our daughter’s wedding and stayed for 5 nights. Pros: 1. The location was great. In town, but quiet and peaceful. Easy to find and we had plenty of parking space. Close to everything we needed- great restaurants, convenience/drugstores, gas, etc. 2. Very clean and stocked with the essentials for our stay. 3. We loved the spacious bedrooms and had plenty of bathrooms. Cons: 1. No tv. The listing shows the home has tv available, but it never worked during the length of our stay. We told our host about the problem on our first day, but no one ever came to the house to attempt to fix it. 2. There is WiFi, but the signal is weak and slow. I’m sure this was also affecting the tv. 3. No clothing storage except some closet space. No dressers. 4. No ceiling fans or floor fans. We bought one at Walmart and couldn’t take it with us, so there should be one there now. 5. The basement level is really cold. 6. No “breakfast” as listing implies.

My second stay in another lovely room with a private bathroom. April is such a welcoming host, and her place is incredibly well-cared for and stocked with everything you could need. Highly recommended!

Catherine's Simple Sanctuary was that indeed - cozy and comfortable, especially with the wood fire stove. Lovely location too. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 20 minutes from Mount Sunapee and the town of Newport. Catherine was a phenomenal host as well, communicative, informative, and very kind (in the face of crummy winter weather). 10/10 would book with her again. Thank you, Catherine!

This is a great spot in the heart of Manchester. Andy is super quick with anything you need. It could use a vanity or area to put on makeup and a few more dishes for long term stays but it’s really a beautiful and extremely spacious spot!

Peaceful Retreat. We were in town for an event in South Royalton. Perfect location for our needs. The communication was superb and instructions were excellent. The property was very easy to find and it is beautiful. Very quiet and clean. There were a lot more amenities than I have seen at other properties. The provided snacks, drinks and bathrobes were especially nice. Fabulous bed and Linens. Very comfortable. If we are in the area in the future, we will be back. Thank you Alicia!

I stayed at Sandy’s for Dartmouth’s graduation over the weekend. It was the best decision. I was exhausted from travel and appreciated the ease of everything. I slept like a dream and had the loveliest time. I was able to not only sleep well but maximize my time because of the location. I highly recommend.

Firstly this is not just some ordinary room. This is an amazing full bed and breakfast experience run by 2 hospitality professionals that are top notch at what they do. This B&B is a HIDDEN GEM!! If you aren't immediately entranced by the views of the sun rising and setting over a pristine mountain lake you will be lost in the beauty and character of the building which is full of eye catching art. Shelia and Bruce were a joy to conversate with and were some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They are very pet friendly and treated our dog like family! As for the garnet suite the room is gorgeous and feels luxurious. The bathroom is a stunner and very large and open, it is so relaxing and the green jade marble tiling adds a gorgeous touch. What are you waiting for?! Book this B&B you will not regret it!! I rarely write reviews but had to since I was so blown away.

unfortunately pam has set a standard for airbnb that I fear will never be able to be replicated. this is by far the best location I've ever stayed at. in addition pam went above and beyond with making a homemade pound cake and leaving a bag with lindorman chocolates and snack bars. in addition to that addition she reached out before I checked in for what breakfast items my group and I would like and pre purchased for us. I have never had such a wonderful experience, even trying to find something that could be better was a fruitless venture. it was the perfect stay and well worth every penny. I also loved the layout so much of the home that I'd love make one for myself one day. do yourself a favor stay here whenever your planning a snowboard or ski adventure at sunapee and crotched. it's perfectly positioned for both of them.

We had a lovely stay. Our expectations from the listing description matched our experience pretty well. Liz and family were super friendly and good hosts. Our dogs had fun playing together. We wish we'd checked on the sauna earlier because it was a quick fix to get it up and running but we didn't realize we'd need help from the hosts until it was too late. Kitchen is functional but nothing fancy so we're glad we cooked a simple meal.

We had a lovely stay and the place was cute beyond our expectations. The area is beautiful and we felt right at home for a week.

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.

Caitlin and her husband, Peter, are caring, considerate hosts. They made me feel welcome in their beautifully appointed, light-filled home. They were open and friendly, interested in finding out who I was, while being respectful of my privacy. When I explained I didn't like to eat first thing in the morning, they went out of their way to prepare a yummy, healthy "to-go" breakfast I could take with me to the program I was attending. Caitlin even loaned me her favorite travel coffee mug for my tea. I was able to spend my final morning having breakfast with them and they prepared a delightful meal, replete with fresh fruits and flowers from their garden. We sat outside amongst the beautiful plantings and each shared with me a precious piece of their own life story as well as how they met. That's how I discovered what wonderful people they are. I would return there in a heartbeat. Staying at the Sanctuary provided a welcome contrast from the intensity of the program I was attending.

We loved our time at John and Sues. The area was absolutely stunning (but a little hard to find in the dark if you follow google maps instead of Sues directions) it was very cozy and picturesque and Queeny the goat was a favorite. We hope to go back someday and bring our kids with us.

Bjorn and Elaine know how look after their guests. It was a pleasure to stay with them whilst exploring the White Mountains region. They gave good food recommendations nearby, made me extra coffee for my flask and asked me about the adventures I had been on. Perfect hosting! The room was super clean and comfortable with space to park the car and lovely indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy a coffee or a beer. Will stay there again if I’m in town.

A wonderful B&B — and the breakfasts are above and beyond. Just tremendously delicious.

We loved our stay at Eileen's! Eileen and her husband and wonderful warm people. The home is beautiful, decorations lovely, and the aesthetic was great! The home has a lot of history which added to the stay! Eileen even cooked us a delicious breakfast, served on beautiful china. She gave us recommendations for things to do around Bellow Falls and hikes around the area which we really appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying here and we're planning to visit again ourselves!

Buddy’s place was incredible!!! The view from your room is gorgeous and breakfast will be the best you will ever have. Smooth check-in, communication, and parking. Wonderful company and conversation - plus, an adorable dog. :) Beautiful hikes only a 10 min drive away. We cannot wait to return again!

Nancy is a warm and welcoming host and her beautiful home is nestled in a peaceful, tranquil New Hampshire community. The spacious wraparound porch is a perfect place for lounging and enjoying views of the lovely flower gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our chats with Nancy and her daughter, Lindsay, as well as getting to know their sweet family dogs, Beau and Marley. Our guest room and private bath were clean, spacious, and very comfortable --we felt completely at ease and well-rested throughout our stay. Each morning, Nancy prepared a scrumptious and beautifully presented three-course breakfast and she graciously accommodated our dietary requests. We had a truly enjoyable stay and are already looking forward to our next visit!
