We blocked a 48 hour period before checkin, and after checkout. Spirit Yurt at Flying Trees is off-grid (powered by the sun) & located 30 mins South of Santa Fe, New Mexico. From the deck of the Yurt, you will have unobstructed spectacular views, including the Ortiz Mountains, Cerro Pelon & the entire cosmos at night!

Little John Hike-in 16-foot Camping Yurt

PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 1.25-mile hike (or bike) to the Little John Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat, there is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. Because of COVID-19, we provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.

The Mushroom Yurt

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good with Verizon and T-Mobile. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated, but only seasonally. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.
