Pitman's Cottage is a 200 year old stone built former miner's (pitman's) cottage, situated in Barmoor Ryton and well positioned for shopping trips to the Metro Centre (shopping mall) & central Newcastle (number 10 bus every 10 minutes) - and for exploring the scenery and historic sites of Northumberland, such as Hadrian's Wall. The cottage is quiet, as the front is accessed by a footpath - not a road. There is parking in the back lane at the back of the cottage, or in the Rugby Club car park.

Welcome to my comfortable home in the beautiful Northumberland village of Wylam. Enjoy beautiful river walks and cycle rides, local pubs and eateries without even getting in your car. Lots of space inside to relax, comfortable south facing lounge, separate dining/family room with wood burning stove, a large modern kitchen, utility and sunny sheltered yard. Street parking is available outside and free car park 50 metres walk. This is my family home which you can enjoy when I am away.
