Apartment holiday rentals in Newbury

We stayed here for a week and used it as a home location for day trips each day. We easily got to antique stores in New Hampshire and Maine and we were close enough to Boston to get to Mount Auburn and Salem. Everything was just as pictured on the website and our host responded to us very quickly whenever we had a question. Absolutely enjoyed being able to watch the sunset from our room and enjoy the wonderful bird songs in the morning and the frogs and crickets at night.

This is the second time we have stayed with Karen and we love her place and her. She is truly a super host. This time being better weather than the last time her yard and garden were absolutely wonderful —just overflowing with flowers and plants. Karen is a friendly and cheerful person. Always a pleasure to bump into while staying there. This place works for us and it’s very near to where our son and his family live so we are staying again for a couple weeks in November. I highly recommend this place and Karen. Short walk to the beach and a short walk to the very interesting Cabot Street stores and restaurants.

We had a great experience staying at Angelo’s loft! It is so comfortable and had all the amenities we could want. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, featuring a large window overlooking the ocean. The outdoor deck is spacious with the same views. Angelo is a very responsive and thoughtful host. We will definitely be returning this summer!

Gull Gardens is an absolute gem. The location is outstanding as you can walk to a beautiful private beach in less than two minutes. So convenient to be close and not have to lug everything you need for a day at the beach. Corinn also has a few beach cruisers she will lend you to make it even easier. The apartment is clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows and linens. I look forward to returning to Plum Island and would gladly stay here again.

Can't say enough positive things about my stay: place was perfect, clean, all the amenities I needed for a week in town. I had a small internet issue which Alex got resolved super fast. The location is brilliant - right in the middle of a super walkable downtown with great coffee shops, dining options, bookstore...I could go on. The space was comfortable and quiet (it is right on the main strip through town, so weekday mornings you can hear the trash collectors and delivery trucks, but that is par for the course if you are staying in town anywhere) and it was a delight to walk out the door and be able to wander everywhere. The parking was also super easy - the all day lot is just a short walk and pretty cheap for a full day of parking. I would absolutely recommend for a visit to Newburyport! You cannot beat the view! Was a great stay, appreciated how well the host communicated and always appreciate a dog-friendly spot. Loved walking around Nahant.

Edgar was a great host. His home is comfortable and very clean. The entire place was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed and awesome pillows were amazing after a day of exploring in Salem. There are two great restaurants close by.

We had a lovely stay at Marianne’s house! It’s a great location and was very peaceful. Appreciated the comfy beds and the high chair that was made available for us for our daughter!

Very comfortable & relaxing! Even though it rained while we were there, the house was so nice we didn’t mind being stuck inside.

Instructions for check in and out were clear. The view of the sunrise and sunset were beautiful. I loved that the kitchen had everything that you could need! When I'm in the area again I will definitely be returning here and maybe stay more than just one day

We visited Joe’s place for weekend getaway to visit Salem. Although not to close to Salem the drive was beautiful and peaceful. A few steps from the beach and a friendly quiet neighborhood. Upon booking Joe gave accurate drive times to Salem and recommended places to visit with a digital and hard copy inside of maps to find places. Any questions I had Joe was very responsive and always super helpful. His hospitality immediately made me feel at ease and knew I picked the perfect place for my family. Thanks so much Joe for a lovely stay.

This was our second 3 week stay at this absolutely gorgeous resort-like environment. Our hosts, Linda & Tom greeted us with warm & welcoming words & were available in person & by phone. Having them reside on the property (separate home) was definitely a plus. Even though the weather wasn't the best, the hosts more than made up for it. We will definitely return.

Our stay at bevs, on island path was fabulous. Bev really thought of all the amenities. It was clean, functionally location wise, and a real treat to come back after a Long Beach day and feel very comfortable. I’d say cozy. We’ve stayed in a few air b n bs in Hampton and rated them probably undeservingly well. This one is honestly the best we’ve stayed in. Not to mention Bev is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to local eateries, and activities, and always responds promptly to messaging. Thanks for an amazing stay Bev. Great location within walking distance to some of the best beaches in MA. The house is at the highest point in elevation in the area, so every night you had a refreshing breeze from all directions, no need for AC. The host's were friendly, accommodating and responsive. I would definitely stay at the same place again in a heartbeat.

Joseph's place was charming, clean, and comfortable! The perfect place to stay for our weekend visiting friends in the area. The hosts were super helpful and made check in and check out a breeze. This space is perfect for two! We highly recommend Joseph's place for your stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The house was spotless, with a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom that made everything super convenient. Thiago was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We especially loved the jacuzzi area and the large, comfy couch in the living room. The entire place offered great privacy. Would definitely recommend it!

Both John and Carol were very inviting and friendly—- Carol even came out to bid us farewell when we checked out. The view is just breathtaking…. Could not ask for more… except warmer weather so we could have enjoyed the pool. :). The apartment had everything we needed and more. The fridge was stocked with breakfast snacks and milk and half and half for morning coffee…. Very nice touch. Great restaurant choices nearby as well. Highly recommend the Arms Hotel. Great food, HUGE portions. I would definitely stay again!

Everything was absolutely exceptional! My parents stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive — they replied to our messages and requests immediately, which made everything so easy and stress-free. My parents left extremely happy and are already talking about coming back. Highly recommended!

This home served us perfectly. It matched the description and with the bedrooms not side by side, it was perfect with a crying baby in the other room 👶🏻 - we didn’t hear a peep!

I stayed with Evan and Rachel previously in the apartment located upstairs from the Hideaway Studio. Once again, I was not disappointed! Spotlessly clean, great location, clear instructions, and perfect for a single guy looking to stay a few nights in Derry. No complaints except I was unable to find any dish soap, so I had to wash everything with hand soap. Also, when using the hot tub, I was bothered by a musty smell coming from the water, especially when all the jets were turned on. Perhaps I’m just overly sensitive to mold. Also, some of the pictures should be updated. While I didn’t need it for my stay, the bunk bed was not set up, so it was just the full bed with the twin trundle underneath. Wonderful stay overall, and I would not hesitate to book this location again!
