Lake house holiday rentals in Newfound Lake

Despite some snow and a power outage, our family had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday at this property. The gas fireplace was a blessing and helped us stay warm during the outage. The house was well-equipped and had all amenities as advertised. Merrill was a great host!

This is the most perfect family vacation spot. It is directly across the street from the boat house with lake access. The most beautiful views you could ask for. less than a mile from grocery and restaurants. The interior is stunning and clean. My family has already asked me to book it again!

The Pancake House was the perfect getaway! Peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, and charming! The house is better than the photos can show, and offered plenty of space for fun and relaxation. We enjoy evenings by the fire after enjoying the sunset on the lake!

Beautiful setting! We enjoyed coffee on the large covered porch sitting in the swings. We love to cook and the kitchen and open concept space was awesome. The beds were very comfortable. We walked the trail along the lake and enjoyed the sunset. the bald eagles were great to see every day too. we also really enjoyed the kayaks. the name mirror lake was very appropriate!

We had a great extended long weekend stay at Karen’s!! The place was warm & inviting- perfect for a colder than anticipated Memorial Day Weekend — we took advantage of the pellet stove and were still able to take in awesome lake views from the comfort of the living room. Our young girls had a blast “swimming” in the large jacuzzi bath tub and playing/ sleeping on the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. We did manage to get out on our boat which was easy to dock at the slip associated with the rental. No fish caught this time around but still fun trying. The location of Karen’s place is awesome- very close/ walking distance to tasty restaurants & public boat launch. We cooked most of our own meals & were grateful for the well stocked kitchen as well as having a grocery store less than 5 min away. Karen was a fantastic host with quick response times from time of booking & then following checkout ensuring that our stay was as seamless as possible. We hope to return in the future! 😊

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

Had a great experience staying at this beautiful home. The host supplied literally everything which we really appreciated! The wood, propane, paper towels, bath towels, fishing tackle, rods - the list goes on. Everything was easy to get to & accessible. We loved the kayaks & canoe, rowing around the lake was very peaceful & had a beautiful view. The part I enjoyed the most was how comfortable the beds were, It fell like I was sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to spend a weekend with friends and family, while enjoying a campfire near the water.

We stayed at this home for our wedding weekend and were genuinely impressed. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. The hot tub heated quickly and worked great, the showers had excellent water pressure, and there were practical extras throughout the house like hair ties, toiletries, and more than enough towels. The house was cozy and every detail felt well-considered. We’re already talking about coming back for a future trip. This was the perfect place to stay.

It’s quite a feat to surpass the already high expectations we had - Shannon and Matt and their beautiful house managed that with ease. We were hyped for the trip since we booked, and the stay was even better than we could dreamt. The second we stepped through the door we felt right at home. Everything was as described, clean and cozy - and the views just amazing. Our baby girl relaxed as much as we did and enjoyed the amenities like the high chair and the baby bath tub that were available. We had to push us hard to do some exploring of what the region has to offer outside the house, and that was well worth it, too. There’s definitely more to explore, and more relaxing to do in the house - so we will be back as soon as we can arrange for that. All the best from Switzerland!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located for those who want to enjoy the outdoors in New Hampshire during the day but come home to a cozy place at night! And Patricia was a fantastic host; she was super-responsive to my questions and had great local recommendations.

We went to Steven’s home on Lake Winnisquam for our daughter’s graduation. The house is direct lake front, stunning panoramic views! The home is beautiful, updated and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked, the washer/dryer convenient on main floor. Gas fireplace chased away coolness of the spring mornings and creates cozy ambiance. Comfy furniture! On the roomy screened porch the furniture is excellent quality. There is a drink fridge and ice maker on the porch for your convenience. The baths and bedrooms were immaculate. We appreciated full size beds. The neighbors are friendly and had a smile when we walked our dog or drove to the house. Great parking spaces, beautiful lawn area with firepit, seating space under the porch, gas grill, private dock, kayaks and more. Lake is pristine. Steven responds very quickly to inquiries and is a top notch host! Great coffee/tea station, thoughtful amenities! Will come again in a heartbeat!

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Close to Plymouth State University- we enjoyed graduation weekend here and would absolutely love to come back for a summer vacation (water access at the end of the street) or winter ski trip with the family. There was so much space for us to spread out - two living room spaces and a porch - kitchen is beautiful and well set up . We highly recommend staying here! Megan was a great host, clearly communicated with us and was available to us if needed when we were there.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Lots of amenities and the hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. It was roomy for our family of 5 and the beds were really comfortable. I’d say it easily accommodates 6-7 people. If you are adventurous and don’t mind sleeping in a small loft or a basement setting you could fit 10-11.

This was our second stay at the Lakehouse. Peaceful stay, comfortable environment, great for the kids!

This is the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. And we’ve done our fair share of travel! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 30th birthday here and had a great time with plenty to do even with a rainy/cloudy weekend. We slept 8 & a dog comfortably. We loved the fire pit, sugar shack, proximity to Walter’s Basin, Inn Kitchen & Bar, West Rattlesnake Mountain, and nearby ice cream shop! We even drove down to Winnipesauke Boat Rentals in Laconia to rent a boat for the day. The airbnb was a perfect place to be for down time- there are so many amenities and the hosts really go the extra mile for you!! Such a nice stay, we would definitely book here again.

My girlfriends and I have chosen to stay here three years in a row for our annual girls weekend, which should tell you all you need to know. Clean, friendly and responsive hosts, great location for getting away to the quiet but easy drive to restaurants. Highly recommend!

Just got back from our weekend stay . Beautiful space that looked just like the photos. House was spotless. The house is located in a very peaceful and private area. Our family enjoyed the kayaks on the pond during the day and the fire pit on the deck at night . Very relaxing weekend .

We were two couples and enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It is well organized and located in a beautiful setup on the lake. A relatively short 30 minutes drive allowed us easy access to the white Mountains attractions. Vanessa was proactive on closing the open space above the bedroom doors just before we came - so this issue as reported in some other reviews has gone away… in short - highly recommended!

Everything was exceptional. Pristine premises with lots of room. Beds were cozy, bathrooms spotless. Everything you could think of was readily available. We did not use the pool and facilities but looked very nice. Easy to find and the property provides ample privacy. Amazing and if in the area would rent again.

Loved our stay at John and Celeste’s lake house. It was our first mini vaca with our 8 month old baby and it was perfect. Beautiful views and very peaceful. We would gladly go back!

We enjoyed our short, but lovely stay at the lake! Home was beautiful and warmly decorated. Comfy beds and set up so nicely! View of lake was so nice and it was hard to leave the deck. We loved the peace and quiet, relaxing vibe! Loved the closed in porch too! Enjoyed pickleball so easily accessible and pretty walk to the lakefront to relax. Wish we could have stayed longer, but rain made it easier to leave. We had magical weather our full day! We hope to return to this special area and home. Loved the market so close though! Thank you!!
