Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Newfoundland and Labrador

The pictures do NOT do this beautiful little place justice! It was perfect in every way. So clean with lots of character! Loved being on the ocean road and watching the sunset and Iceburgs from the deck.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs over the years, and this was by far the best one, especially for the price. The place was spacious enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 small children, and the surroundings were beautiful. It was very close to the lake, in a private area, exactly like a nice summer cottage. Marcella left a ton of snacks, fresh bread, eggs and milk in the fridge, and there was even coffee, tea, cereal and oatmeal in the pantry. I cannot say enough good things. The space had everything we could have needed and more, and felt just like home. Husband kept saying it was paradise indeed. Our kids loved it and we were just sad we couldn’t stay longer. Whoever stays here won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mad Rock retreat. From check in (with lovely treats), to the cosy style and amazing views. The hiking trail access and little beaches to roam in close proximity make this place a hiker/nature lovers dream. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

A luxurious home with everything you need, plus many extra amenities! The hot tub was wonderful after a day exploring all the local areas, which you are inspired to do after viewing the artwork throughout the house. The property has a private and unique setting beside a waterfall that is magical. We loved our stay here, and absolutely recommend Ocean View Estate.

Our stay here was great! We enjoyed using the peddle boats and the canoe! As well as the hot tub! It is suitable for a single family as the home is quite small on the inside (we had 2 couples and 1 set of the couples has a teenage son so bunkbed situation was worked out) The house was extremely clean (coming from a house cleaner . Would highly recommend.

The Marble Saltbox is absolutely beautiful! A nice spacious, clean and cozy home in a gorgeous little community. Martin was wonderful to deal with, very accommodating and helpful! I’d highly recommend booking a stay at this beautiful home!

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs ..Beverley’s was by far the most well thought out space I’ve been in. Everything to make your stay comfortable and inviting was provided. Lots of helpful instructions displayed around the home. Lots of kitchen devices, coffee, snacks and bathroom staples like shampoo, conditioner and body wash. My only complaint is that we couldn’t enjoy the space more as we were out sightseeing too much 😊

Had a wonderful stay in Bonavista! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host was welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the region!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was an unbelievably beautiful place, right down to every decoration. There were detailed instructions which left us with little to no questions. Such friendly hosts, they even left me a card as I was staying to attend my university convocation. The place was peaceful and we felt safe in the area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with my sister and her husband. The space was perfect for us all to fit. The spa tub was very relaxing after a long hike. We loved it! Clean and beautiful! The sunsets off the balcony were to die for. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had coffee and everything we needed. Kayla gave some good hike recommendations. Seaside restaurant is just a couple mins walk along the water and was delicious. Would def stay here again!

Love staying at Trudy’s place. It is a beautiful place that is always spotless. We have stayed here multiple times and look forward to our next visit. Hopefully it will be available when we need a place again. Thanks so much to Trudy for everything.

Clean accomodation and a great location. Nice touch to leave wine and treats but would have preferred Pino Grigio. :)

What can we say? This was our third time staying at Kathie Anne’s place and it continues to be fantastic. See our earlier review from 2022 for a more complete description. We will stay here again in the future.

Nice basement suite, modern surroundings with new furniture in living space. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to restaurants in Gander.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Rowena’s . Really friendly host , kind and considerate . Extra little things to back on and always homemade delicious bread .

Perfect location to explore Cabot Trail. Thanks to the host suggestion, We experienced the most stunning sunset from the view deck.

Melodus retreat was absolutely pristine. We had such an amazing time created great core memories, and loved every second of our stay here! Honestly, we really didn’t wanna leave! We didn’t even have to leave the cottage. We had so much to do on site. The kids had an amazing time as did The adults! It was the absolute perfect family home for myself and my friends to kick off this summer! Host was always super attentive and easy to get a hold of we. We even got to check in a little bit early, which was super awesome! Definitely hope we can return 🤞🏼😍 would like to remind everyone to bring a lot of bug spray. The bugs definitely would have taken over if we didn’t have bug spray! overall wonderful , relaxing experience!!

This Cavendish house was great. Pictures were a true representation of the property. Newly renovated. Clean and tidy. Lots of supplies. Lots of extra little things. Nice games room downstairs. Covered hot tub out back. View of the bay and Shag Rock in the distance. Little too close to the road and could hear traffic through the night. Close to Islington and Dildo for things to see and do. Wayne and Candice were great hosts. Responded quickly to emails. Very nice stay overall. We would stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this location, and as mentioned in the many positive reviews, this place impresses on every level. The views from ever location are stunning, and the decor is perfect. If you are a birdwatcher this place is really magical. with binoculars or ideally a spotting scope you can observe nearby colonies of Murres, Puffins, Razorbills Kittiwakes and others right from the deck. The seas below the cliffs can have closer range views of these sea birds, and the skies above the more distant islands are literally full of birds at any time of the day.
