Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Newlyn

Corri’s cottage is fabulous, beautifully decorated with comfortable sofas and beds. Kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed to cook on the few evenings we didn’t eat out. Lovely garden with sofas/chairs to lounge on which we did get to enjoy despite some mixed weather. Mousehole is a perfect place to set off on some stunning costal walks which is what we spent our week doing. We also enjoyed dinner at 2 Fore Street, Mackerel Sky & the Tolcarne Inn.

We have just had the best week at Bowjey Hill. Adam was very friendly and showed us around the property when we arrived and made lots of local recommendations which helped us plan for the week. We visited a lot of the recommendations and they did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and spacious and there was nothing more we could have asked for. The kitchen has all the cook books you can imagine, along with with all the equipment needed. So we had some evenings in the property cooking and playing games which were found in the cupboard. The house is decorated beautifully and feels like a home away from home. The garden is a great space for the family, unfortunately we didn’t use the pizza oven but the area in the garden was amazing. The beds were very comfortable. Adam brought coal for the bbq and said he’d bring any wood etc around if needed for the fire. Loved our stay and would recommend the host and property. Once parked up we just walked, got the bus or train. Very easy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David’s Airbnb and would definitely recommend it. David was quick to respond and the property was exactly as described with some very welcomed goodies on our arrival. It was clean, very comfortable and homely. Lovely to sit out on the decking and enjoy the beautiful views. Located on a steep hill as described, it was a 5 minute walk down to the bottom of the road but have to admit we cheated on the return with a local taxi back to the property. It was only a short stay but can recommend Casa Tapas and The Red Lion pub where we found great food and service. Good bus service in general, managed to visit Mousehole, Penzance & Truro so even though we didn’t hire a car, we found Newlyn a good location to access surroundings parts of Cornwall. Thank you David, for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing.

Really great place! Water is just around the corner. Train station was about a 15 minute walk. Unfortunately could not fit our vehicle through the arch to park so had to park at the harbor and walk. 3 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of space! Would stay again!

We had a lovely time in Penzance. The cottage suited our needs and was fairly close to all attractions. The views were spectacular and the rural setting was beautiful but so close to the beach.

A nice place to stay in St Agnes and was walking distance to the beach

We had the most wonderful stay in St Agnes — such a quaint and friendly village with some amazing places to eat (don’t miss The Cornish Pizza Company!). St Agnes Head at sunset was truly stunning, and the whole village was incredibly dog friendly — our elderly companion was warmly welcomed everywhere we went. There are gorgeous short walks perfect for a gentle potter, and it’s clear there are longer routes for the more adventurous too. As for The Bower Barn — it was an absolute dream! The place had everything we needed and more. The vibes were spot-on: cozy, stylish, and completely relaxing. The enclosed garden was huge and felt so private and safe — especially appreciated coming from London. We were lucky with the weather and loved being able to open all the skylights upstairs to let the breeze in. We stayed for three nights and genuinely didn’t want to leave. I already wish we’d booked for longer — and we’re already planning our return. Can’t recommend it enough!

OUTSTANDING. Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated, great views and perfect for the dogs. Will be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay at The Old Cellars. The property was easy to find, even though it might seem a bit tricky at first. Inside, it was both spacious and cosy – just right for a few relaxing days away. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of the village and only a minute’s walk from the beach, local shop, and pub. Parking wasn’t far at all and didn’t cause any problems. We enjoyed a few scenic walks in both directions from the village – again, the location couldn’t have been better. A special touch was the Friday evening shanty singing at the pub opposite the bedroom window. It really added to the charm and atmosphere of the place. It was lovely to hear and made our stay even more memorable.

Really great communication, the place has excellent views and the location is perfect. Thank you for letting us stay also with our puppy.

A stunning and beautifully looked after home. Great location and view with an easy walk in to town. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed a few quiet nights at Ian's apartment after a long cycle to Land's End and it was the perfect tranquil getaway. Incredible views, well equipped, close enough for a nice walk into St Just which has plenty of amenities. All in all it was a perfect stay and Ian was very responsive to our requests during our visit - would love to come back again!

Incredibly friendly host and a lovely and cozy place. There is a bike hire shop and a tin mines museum 4 minutes down the road. Plus a nice medieval themed pub practically next down. Excellent place to stay

We absolutely loved staying at Charlotte's place! The loft was very spacious, extremely comfy, and well-equipped. A parking spot is provided. Charlotte lives on the property as do her two sweet pups and some very sociable chickens who tended to greet us when we walked to our car each morning. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful, but a quick drive to the center of Falmouth where there are lots of shops and wonderful restaurants. Trebah garden is only a few minutes away by car and is outstanding. Charlotte is very kind and welcoming, and a super responsive host. We couldn't have asked for anything more and truly enjoyed our stay at the loft. I highly recommend renting this property.

We stayed here last year and wanted to stay again because of the great location, lovely village and such wonderful accommodation. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is very spacious. Pen and Patrick are lovely friendly hosts and easy to communicate with - nothing is a bother. We would highly recommend staying here.

lovely setting with a gorgeous airbnb! perfect for a group of friends celebrating 🙌 the hot tub and sauna were a perfect touch for a coastal location. We could walk to the sea and there were so many fun activities that Three Mile Beach helped us organise. 10/10 would recommend!

We were so impressed with all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they responded to everything really quickly. The property (Strawberry Fields) was beautiful and furnished in an original and tasteful way. Everything was considered. We had all we needed. The hot tub was well used by us all. Even though we were surrounded by other properties it still felt completely private. The location was excellent being so close to the beach. We all had an amazing holiday (including the dog) and felt that we had a week of real luxury.

I write on a personal note as well (to show how amazing the hosts were). The night after we arrived my parents’ dog, Mollie went missing. Kaye and Lindsey pulled out all the stops to help search for her. Sadly the day before we left, the dog was found but it wasn’t a good outcome. But they’d joined in the search intensely all week, organising local people to come help, a farmer to help with cutting back vegetation, searching at various hours of the day in an effort to find Mollie. They really were brilliant.

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

Extremely well equipped, welcoming, super clean, plenty of instructions and information about the house and area. Comfortable beds, tastefully decorated, super garden, plenty of parking, great hot tub, acres of storage, what wasn’t to like!

This is a beautiful, clean and well located property. The view of the harbor each morning was spectacular and it was very convenient to all Falmouth activities. Sandra was very communicative before and during the stay and gave great recommendations for local spots to dine. We thoroughly enjoyed our family’s stay and hope to have the opportunity to return.
