The home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus an outside bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Enjoy mountain views while sitting around a lovely big fire pit surrounded by nature.

The Cabin

Suitable for a single person or a couple. It is equipped for self-catering, and consists of one open-plan room with a double bed, a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a heater, not a fire-place. The cabin has a wooden deck and is in a peaceful and pretty garden setting. It is a few meters away from The Bluff walk, a 3km circular path with lovely views. The Edge restaurant is less than a 5 minute walk from the cabin.

Nutwoods Park

The house is a little run down. But having said that you’ll feel right at home with small problems here and there. The gardens were absolutely stunning. If you don’t mind a basic house but magnificent outdoor space then this is the place for you. If you plan on spending a lot of time indoors then maybe check out something else. The host is very friendly.

Shed Self-catering cottage, 2 adults, 2 kids

Pieter and Christel are very gracious hosts. You can rest assured that you’ll be in good hands. The setting is beautiful (there’s something special about Hogsback). The unit is modern and tastefully decorated with all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect spot to escape to when city life becomes a little too much.

When you need to push pause on everyday life this is the perfect place to relax and be rejuvenated. The cabin is so well thought out and every detail is just right. Jaco and Dayle are so welcoming and are extremely kind. Dayle has a wellness centre and her massages were so therapeutic. Jaco is a chef and whipped up a feast of a dinner for us, taking note of our personal favourite food choices and then delivered the meal to our cabin. It doesn’t get any better than that! The breakfast basket of goodies was incredible. The best bread I have ever had, delivered warm straight out of the oven. My husband and I went for walks down country lanes and experienced the beauty of hogsback. We will visit again for sure. Thank you Dayle and Jaco.

Happy Valley Fishing Farm cottage

If rewind and relax is what you need, this is the place. Honest, comfortable and close to nature. Jessica is the perfect host, would not change a thing except pet fencing to be more secure so dogs don’t roam free. I can highly recommend Jessica’s place for the solo traveller, families or small team building groups.
