I cannot say enough good things about Misfit Farm! The location was so serene, the movie room was awesome for our family movie night, and the garden tub was so relaxing. But our favorite part was getting to meet all the animals on the farm! Tim let my seven-year-old son feed the goats and let me bottle-feed Buttercup, the baby cow. Our favorite farm friends were Rusty, the bull and Shadow, the cat - so friendly! We sipped tea on the front porch at night while we watched fireflies, and then we got a heavenly night's sleep on the comfy beds. This place is amazing - we will definitely be back.

Quaint hilltop Sunset/Sunrise Farmhouse getaway

We spent Thanksgiving week at "The Farm". We were coming from different locations and all had no issues finding the location. The house was homey and clean and was wonderfully stocked with everything needed. The firepit was perfect and stocked as well The host was very responsive to the few questions we had and helpful in all regards. We had 2 small dogs with us and they had a blast. Would reccomend and return.

Loved everything about it. House felt like home. Everything you could ask for in the house that you would ever need and more. loved the peacefulness and seclusion. Julie was right on top of everything she answered every question. she was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place. We are a brief and beautiful drive to Keeneland, the Ky Horse Park, numerous Thoroughbred farms, the Red River Gorge and all things BOURBON. Carriage House at Forest Retreat

The Carriage House at Forest Retreat is a lovely location to totally relax in a historic setting. Henry Clay named the farm during a visit in the 1820s. The Kentucky Derby winning farm has lots of space to wander or play a game of tennis on the lighted court. The carriage house is perfect for exploring Blue Licks State Park, Wedent’s Wildlife Park, Kentucky Doll & Toy Museum and many other fun locations.

We stayed during Thanksgiving week to celebrate the holiday with family. Beaux even offered the home to use for our Thanksgiving lunch and went out of his way to have all that we would need there to prepare and celebrate. We are eternally grateful for his kindness and hospitality. The time was everything we hoped it would be.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very nice for the boys. They liked to play outside and they enjoyed the roomy soace inside too. We enjoyed the Wildlife experience. It was close to other activities such as the Srtawberry Festival in Paris. Thanks for everything!
