Ohana Villas was the perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa! The property is beautiful, it’s well maintained and clean. The pool and pool area is great! A perfect spot to cool off and relax. The owners are present on the property every day & the nicest people! They would check in on how our stay is going, if we needed anything and just to say hi. We were given clear instructions to access the property, a lengthy list of recommendations for food and some overall information. I would stay here again and recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in ST.

I made it to the Cottage right before dark. Hearing Howler Monkeys up above was amazing! The fan was on high and both ceiling fans going. Bed was very comfortable and welcoming. I had traveled all day and it was perfect! Loved the airiness of the room and the simplicity of the bathroom and kitchen. Plan to stay here again!

Is beachfront worth the extra cost? Absolutely! The sound of the waves, the sunrises and sunsets, the views down the entire Santa Teresa beach. I don’t relax vacation often, but really needed to and Richard’s place was exactly what I needed! Tide pools to the right, excellent surf waves to the left, some of the freshest foods I’ve eaten anywhere. This is an amazing location at a quiet end of an amazing beach, shaded by trees, next to a restaurant that we enjoyed many meals at. The quaint size reminded us the reason for the rocking chairs on the porch, outdoor couch, table and lounge chairs was to be outside. Full featured kitchen, great shower, and comfortable bed. If you don’t rent a car, rent the ATV’s, Richard can help get them delivered to you…we happily had one for the week to explore and dine at multiple places. A gated parking area is a bonus. As is a quick nap in the hammock to the rhythm of the waves, waking to stunning views. Get the beachfront! We will be back!

The bungalow was fantastic, very comfortable, and José was a great host. I would definitely stay here again if returning to Tamarindo.

Highly recommend this place to stay in Monteverde! The host was super welcoming when we arrived and was kind throughout. The place is as described with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. To note, having a car or using taxi’s is most likely needed to stay here. There wasn’t really any restaurants or places to walk to without driving into the main township.

Hands down the best place to stay in La Fortuna. David was very responsive and got me checked in right when I arrived. The cabin is GORGEOUS. It feels like it’s in the middle of the rain forest. The inside of the cabin was the cleanest Airbnb I may have ever stayed at. Truly spotless and didn’t have bugs which I have found to be impossible in Costa Rica. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the kitchen made me so happy in the morning. It even has a little patio area underneath the cabin. Wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d recommend staying here over staying at a fancy hotel. You feel immersed in Costa Rican nature while still feeling very comfortable. Honestly this place felt like a nice hotel but way better. It’s worth it.

Teresita and Eli went above and beyond. We were a group of 14 and rented out all their cabanas. As you can imagine we had lots of questions. They took the time to recommend activities and even booked on our behalf. Also, all of their food recommendations were great. The cabanas were beautiful and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely time at the Airbnb! It is a collection of 5 or so Airbnb in a retreat community. It still feels secluded and private though! There is also a community yoga studio and the friendliest cats and dog. When we arrived the pool at our Airbnb was malfunctioning so they let us stay in another (equally as beautiful) Airbnb on site while they fixed it. In our Airbnb (the shipping container) there were a few small issues but the hosts were very responsive and even offered us free zip line tickets due to the inconvenience. The place is right near Playa Hermosa and minutes from Jaco beach - great location! I would highly recommend this stay it is beautiful and I felt safe.

A sweet little spot surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. Love how it feels upstairs in the bedroom with the view of the tree out of the window / from the balcony. Was lovely sitting in the yard where the bench is too surrounded by butterflies and little hummingbirds. The hosts were very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway that’s close to Monteverde and has its own natural charm.

This was a great place to stay! We needed to use the washer and dryer and we were greeted by his mother-in-law who not only offered to do our laundry but folded it and gave it back to us in a timely manner. We were very appreciative and the beautiful surroundings were a plus! Such a fun place to stay in nature.

A perfect place with parking inside the establishment and pool to enjoy in the day Marc and Grace was always very attentive to answer our questions and help us with what we occupied We'll definitely be back on our next trip 🙌🏻

A beautiful, private feeling accommodation in a very safe location which is easily walkable to restaurants and shops. You will feel secluded in nature with the birds and the squirrels but also have all the conveniences and comforts you want. Silvia was really responsive and let me into the accommodation as soon as it was ready which helped with my early arrival. Note that although the place is quite private there is a soccer field not far which sometimes had people there quite late so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

We enjoyed the time at the Airbnb very much. Raquel and her husband were super sweet and friendly and gave us tips on what to do in the area. The beaches nearby were very nice and quiet. The tiny house was really great and you had a great view. The house was lovingly furnished and cozy. It was just a bit too warm for us when sleeping without air conditioning, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Our stay at this little treehouse was incredible! My husband and I especially loved the spacious porch and the beautiful natural surroundings. We saw (and heard!) howler monkeys and were treated to an amazing variety of bird calls each day. The location felt like a peaceful retreat, yet it was still just a short drive to shops and restaurants. Do note that the roads leading there are a bit rough—having a 4x4 or arranged transportation is definitely recommended. That said, we absolutely loved everything about our stay and truly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a great time! The place was clean, in a great spot, and in a quiet part of town. Very pretty backyard. Tatiana was very kind and gave us local restaurant recommendations which were delicious!

Very nice and cosy place. It could be a bit crammed for 2 people but perfect for one. Clean and well equipped kitchen, cosy seating area, air conditioned. Quiet area yet walking distance to the beach and surf shop. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Casa Rustica for 8 nights. The bungalow was the perfect size for my husband and me. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were luxurious. Sharr has done a great job decorating both inside and out. The vegetation around the property provides optimal privacy and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. We didn’t hear or see our neighbours in Casa Rustica number 1 - it’s that private. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away (you can hear the sound of the waves from the back porch). We walked the beach into town and back a few times for lunch (about 25 minutes each way). We also rented beach bikes from Sharr which were handy for getting around, as we didn’t have a car. The location and the accommodation were perfect. We were fortunate enough to meet Sharr. She is an incredible host who wants to ensure her guests are comfortable. The only caveat we have is that this is a growing community and so there may be some construction happening on new homes nearby.

The location is walking distance to the grocery store, city center and beach. The neighborhood is safe and away from the crowd. Parking space is available. We enjoyed the bbq for prepping meals. The pool is fabulous. Tip #1: Go have lunch at Chaki Café, the girls are incredibly friendly and the food is fresh and amazing. Tip #2: For grocery shopping go to Super China Samara. Tip #3: Gusto Beach, you get a chair and an umbrella if you spend a minimum of $20. It’s well worth it. Try the ginger limonade.

Loved my stay there. A friend rented the other bungalow, which was the perfect set up. Already booked a return visit.

Amazing place in the jungle! It’s incredibly peaceful, perfect for relaxation and disconnecting from the world. However, be prepared for a steep road—you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Since it’s deep in the jungle, you might encounter some interesting insects. Overall, a fantastic getaway for nature lovers!

Amazing place to stay! Only a 7 minute walk to the swimming area, a 15 minute walk to a big grocery store / some food spots & about a 25 minute walk to town. Carlos let us check in early & even offered us a late check out all for no charge. We stayed for 6 days & he offered us clean towels halfway through & we got some candy & a nice note on our way out. Clean place, great kitchen, chrome cast was nice for night time. An amazing spot!
