We had a wonderful stay in Perar—peaceful and surrounded by lush tea gardens. The host was responsive, and the caretaker team was always helpful. Amma cooked delicious meals, and Stephen took us on a hidden forest trail that led to a stunning mountain view. We also loved the tea factory tour and the visit to Stephen’s carrot farm. Highly recommended for a quiet, nature-filled getaway!

Place was clean, huge and cold. Upper room didn’t have bathroom so we didn’t use that room as walking down at midnight would be troublesome. Caretaker and host were great and very helpful. During our stays it was raining hence extremely cold . I recommend they should still have heater options. It is not at a walkable distance to market as stated and all reviews describe

This homestay is located centrally in waynad area . You will enjoy lot of indoor & outdoor activities in Villa itself . Caretaker Akhil will make your trip memorable by staying in constant touch so that you will enjoy holidays hassle free This place is as it's described . This amazing property has beautiful swimming pool to rejuvenate after day's sightseeing . Water is crystal clear. Also peaceful surroundings makes this places great in value. Also food ordered through tie up restaurant was of good quality for both veg & non veg members as we were 12 guests . This is best location for family trip i must say to enjoy .Akhil is a good host & we will definitely come here again .

The place is retro style and worth the experience. he provided all the necessary things, and the place is very clean. The view from the balcony is really good. Overall, the place is very nice.

Peaceful, calm and serene environment. Very helpful and friendly caretaker and family. Not a big menu, but the complimentary breakfast and everything we had from the menu was tasty and homely. 6-7 km to the center of Ooty, so ideal for people with own transport.

We had a great time staying in this 2BH unit for our family vacation with 8 people. The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a nice, quiet spot. The only thing to note is that while there are two bedrooms, the beds are really only suitable for 2 people. But no worries—Mr. Firoz, the manager, took care of everything for us and provided extra mattresses and bedding so everyone had a comfy place to sleep. What truly made this stay stand out was the exceptional service provided by the property manager, Mr. Firoz. Special credit goes to him for his responsiveness, and genuine hospitality. From the moment we checked in, he ensured everything was smooth, promptly attended to our requests, and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. Location: It is located in the heart of Ooty and very convenient location. It is a brand new property and it is very clean and neat. Rooms: We were 3 family stayed at Avalon Stays, It was spacious as they have 4 bedrooms and one common space. Food: They prepared very good non spicy food for kids and also they have some spicy dishes like pepper chicken and all. It was really yummy. Lemon tea was super Hospitality: The staff members are really cooperative and hence it was very pleasant stay at Avalon Stays.

The place is slightly remote from the main city which makes it perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. The property is well maintained by the caretakers and they are very responsive. All the amenities listed were working fine and the place was clean. We also asked for a bbq and they took a reasonable amount for it and the chef helped us with it. The cost of the place is good but I would like the room to have some lamps and better utensils for the price we are paying. Also, autos and cabs take a lot of money to go to the city side so if you want to travel the city side then stay in the city and then come here for a stay to enjoy the beautiful mountains and tea estate.
