Absolutely serene and peaceful place on top of the hill. Visiting from a chaotic city of Mumbai to this place was a blissful experience. The caretaker was very friendly and always available for help. The house was very clean. The best part was breakfast is included in the cost of the room stay. Since, the house is on top of the hill, one has to walk a little distance for the Tuk-Tuk or else on need to have a vehicle. I would like to highlight the villa is shared with other guest as we had booked two rooms. It was another way of meeting people of another country & staying with them. I would request the owner to add a washing machine as additional amenities. A great experience and highly recommended.

The team were amazing! Extremely kind and very much made us feel welcome. The location was beautiful and even with the rainy weather, we loved seeing it roll over the hills! The bed was comfy and the cold plunge bath was a great addition. There are a few ants (expected in nature) if you don’t disturb them and don’t eat sweet food in the room, they pay no attention! We loved it and would definitely come back!

Forest face lodge was exactly as described. A cozy place with a view of the nearby river, which you can also hear at all times. The staff was very friendly and accommodated to all our needs. You just have to accept that it takes about 15min by Tuktuk to get to Kandy city center.

Really love this place!!! Super clean and comfortable, awesome view to wake up to, good shower, very kind hosts. The walk to the main road is magic, like a story book. Such a beautiful neighborhood! Cafe Banana Chill is just at the bottom of the road, my favorite spot in Kandy. And lots of Tuk Tuk drivers very conveniently await in this area. I would recommend to a friend
