Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Nipissing District

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home fits larger families with 4 bedrooms and two washrooms. Conveniently located close to the river and short walk to shops and restaurants. Host was friendly and responded very quickly to any messages sent.

The house was very clean, bright and cozy with all the amenities necessary for a great stay. Short distance to all the stores and restaurants, as well as two Provincial Parks. Would highly recommend this place to those visiting/exploring Huntsville.

Thank you Dulcie for the lovely stay, we especially enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful scenery surrounding the cottage. The cottage was modern, clean and had everything we needed. Dulcie was super friendly and responsive throughout our stay. Bonus for us was being able to kayak and canoe on the lake which seems to go on forever! Overall, definitely recommend a stay here for those who want to escape the city for a bit and be in nature.

We booked the Airbnb last minute and it was the perfect getaway! Very clean and Kim was very responsive. Kitchen has everything you need! Lovely stay. We saw lots of white tailed deer next to the house while on a walk!

Joan's place was a great place for us to unwind after the hectic day of our daughter's Nipissing Graduation. We stayed 2 nights in early June, the view of the lake was incredible and sitting on the patio listening to the waves lapping at the shore was just what the doctor ordered. The only problem we had was the fridge wasn't working, Joan had a bar fridge in before we even got there and it was lots big enough for us. Joan was super apologetic and even offered room in her fridge upstairs if we needed it. A trip out to The Trading post is always recommended if you like ice cream, cones are massive! We would definitely stay here again, Joan was fantastic to deal with!

Great stay. Clean space, looks just like the photos. Peaceful and easy. Had a crib and high chair for our little one. Hot tub was great. BBQ we didn’t use but was available. TV and internet worked. Responsive host. Cut grass. Little parkette for our son within a short walking distance. Thank you Ronald and Irene.

Rick & Brenda’s place was absolutely beautiful. Stunning views, a beautiful lake house, and plenty of activities and games made this the perfect weekend getaway. We came as a group of 9 and there was more than enough space for everyone to stay comfortably. The place was spotless -super clean and well-maintained- which made it feel even more relaxing. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, especially considering our long drive to get there, and their communication was quick and helpful throughout. Truly, nothing was lacking.

Was a great spot to stay and close to everything very easy to get a hold of and check in check out was seem-less they were even going to let me go back to see if I forgot something and it was very clean . only few downfalls the bbq was very dirty and didn’t work well we ended up having to switch are food to inside , it’s for sale so a lot of stuff from the stagers in the house which made us nervous to touch anything , no heat in the basement and it was a chilly weekend and they are extremely strict on the recycling to the point there is a sign saying the first thing the cleaning lady does is go through the garage and if one things isn’t in the right place you will be fined , with kids accidents happen and they may put garbage in the wrong bin so we ended up taking all are garbage home to save save the stress

Property and home are extremely beautiful, we had great weather and spent most the weekend outside. Definitely considering booking this cottage again in the future. Thanks for the stay

Sandor made us feel welcome right away! He was also very quick to reply to any and every message, and he made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Our room was clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was very tasty. Location was perfect too. Close to so many good hiking trails and lakes. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Mark and Betty's chalet. The place was quiet and clean. There was plenty of space for our two families, a beautiful deck space for enjoying a morning coffee, an indoor pool for the kids to use at the nearby resort (at a reasonable cost and only a 5 minute walk from the chalet) and plenty of hiking trails nearby. The hosts were responsive and offered helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed Mark and Betty's art collection, the many klompen (for the Dutch in us!) and the giant pileated woodpecker that would visit the birdfeed in the morning.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

This place is absolutely breathtaking, being right on the lake, the view was beautiful from morning to night time. Usman was also an amazing host who responded to all our questions and concerns in timely manner before and during our stay. Could not recommend this host and their place enough. We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Wilderness Paradise is in a great location for Atving with both private trail tours with Andre the owner or using the Vmuts trail system. the snowmobile trail is also close by and hope to stay again in the winter. The place was comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay. Although we didn't see a moose or the northern lights, Andre made every attempt to make that happen even getting up at 4am to see if the northern lights were shining to let us know. If your into atving, hunting or snowmobiling this is a good spot to stay.

I've just moved to Canada and this my first trip away from Toronto. The place, the hosts, the experience... all of them amazing. If you're visiting in October, make sure you bring extra bedding with you as it gets very cold (for a Brazilian lol). I'm definitely coming back.

A beautiful experience in the woods. Just what you need to help reset and enjoy everything nature has to offer. Just remember to turn left before the marker on Maps and there will be a circular sign indicating the lane, if you take the next left you’ll have a 4-wheeler road experience 😆

The Hillside Dome at Tiny Village Ottawa River is amazing. The grounds are beautiful, the amenities are great, the staff are extremely pleasant and the owners are very accommodating and nice. I would 1000% stay here again and I would 1000% recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Devon and Terry were more than accommodating & the Loft was absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay in a cozy, well equipped and spacious cottage with a beautiful view on the lake. Our host had everything ready to make our stay the most comfortable. We enjoyed hiking in the snow on nearby trails.

Extremely responsive and friendly host - our WiFi dropped off after flickering and they came round the next morning to fix it and gave us some fresh eggs! Loved the space and amenities and would definitely stay again!
