This is a private rental accommodation on a hill overlooking the horizon of Shima-yakushima, a World Natural Heritage site. Enjoy a relaxing time with family and friends in a spacious 77-square-meter old house. There are few houses around, and it is a quiet place surrounded by trees and a small stream. You can see the sea to the east, so you can sometimes see the moonrise. The starry sky is also very beautiful. Anbo town is a 10-minute drive, convenient for shopping and eating. The popular Jomon Sugi mountain climbing bus stop is a 15-minute drive away. If you're having trouble finding a rental car, you can car share the owner's car (using the Carstay app). It is a light vehicle with a capacity of 4 people and it is a cargo car, so the ride comfort is not the best, but it is a 4WD with plenty of luggage space. The owner was a fisherman, so we named it pêcheur (fisherman). Following his will to avoid creating an environment where people gathering at the house would cause the fish to flee, we use environmentally friendly detergents as much as possible. What you can enjoy during your stay at this house is the quietness. 360 degrees, the green jumps into your eyes. Come and be healed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by nature. The starry sky at night is also a must-see. It is our wish that you will be embraced by the stars and remember the original landscape. Hachimanju Tea Garden and Jomon Farm are within walking distance. Relatively close to Miyanoura, Awa, and the airport, the location is excellent for sightseeing, shopping, and bus travel.

Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

This location is very quiet & secret place for vacation home. There is a small Tatami room like a tea celemony room that you can use as yoga, meditation etc. for your private time. However, no kitchen facility. We provide an electric pot,cups,small dishies, refrigerater, microwave and oven grills toaster, so you can bring some food etc. There is sea and forest view from the guest cottage. Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.

Our cottage is located on the hill looking over the Yakushiam's sea. You can see the marvelous ocean view and mountains. Its floor, wall, and ceiling are made with cedar plates. Inside the cottages are large cedar beams and the rooms are filled with the fragrance of the timber. The cottage is equipped with a unit bathroom, private balcony, a mini kitchen with an cooking heater and a small refrigerator, and some cookware and tableware, which can be freely used by the guest.

200 metres from Nagata beach. Private and fully self contained holiday house. 2 bedrooms with seperate bathroom and toilet. Full kitchen and clothes washing and drying machine. ホリデーハウス永田は屋久島の西部に位置し、海亀産卵日本一のいなか浜に近く、家からは前浜に歩いて行けます。ビーチから眺めるサンセットは美しく、横河渓谷や屋久島灯台、西武林道が近くにあります。登山口からは離れていますので、レンタカーを借りる事を強くお勧めします。縄文杉登山だけに来られる方は永田は遠いですので、地図を見てご検討下さい。2021年5月〜7月の海亀観察会はコロナの影響により中止となっています。夜8時以降は浜に降りられませんのでご注意ください。早朝5時に浜に行くと海亀と会える可能性があるのでお勧めです。
