Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

The Nuurdlaacht (Frisian: Northern Lights) vacation apartment is centrally located in Wyk/Boldixum on the road that connects the harbor with the town of Wyk and the island villages. An ideal starting point for excursions to the islands. The city center with shops and the beach are about 1 km away, so everything is easily accessible by bike. The apartment is well equipped with two terraces, a garden and a parking space.

Here in the south of Amrum, the sea is very close and the dune landscape and the huge Kniepsand are within walking distance in a few minutes. A perfect starting point for relaxed island adventures!

From this centrally located accommodation, you are in no time at all the important places. For your trips to the beach (about 5 minutes by bike) and across the island, I will provide bicycles. The bus stop is 150 meters away, as is the delicious bakery. Opposite is the farm shop with regional products such as milk, eggs, potatoes, etc. Edeka is 300 meters away. The view of the sea and the northern tip are simply wonderful and you immediately know you are on the nature-loving island of Amrum. It is located on the 1st floor.
