Along the coastal road to Skaland - 4 km - the natural experiences are lined up - white sandy beaches - sea and mountain formations. Skaland offers a cafe, a great grocery store and a local pub. View the northern lights from our terrace, kayak the lagoon from the beachfront and hike up Lyngvær mountain from the house. The house from the 19th century and was an active merchant area with steamboat harbor, postoffice, and market. The house is renovated with new bathroom. The sauna has amazing views of the sea and mountains. Charger for electric or plug-in car is available.

This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, fireplace and an exclusive sauna. Live like the locals without being in the middle of the mass tourism, but still living very sentral and being able to visit the rest of Lofoten with Gimsøy as your base. The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

Holiday house (2015) for all year use next to the sea on the Hadsel island. Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.
