The master bedroom has a cabin feel to it with a comfy bed and views out onto farmland. The Loft is a spacious cosy area with low ceilings which the teenagers will love but tall people may not enjoy it as it's only about 1.75 cm at the highest point . large couches for watching netflix or relaxing on the deck. we are not set up for young children and think it's best suited to 8+ age

My family took a 14 day road trip through NZ and this was one of our favorite accommodations! Very tidy house with a great layout. Comfortable beds with nice quality linens and spacious bathrooms. Kitchen included some thoughtful additional food supplies. The very best part was the access to the beach, which was everything I dreamed it would be and more for our nature-loving family.

Great spot away from it all! The location is rural with not much nearby, however with a car easy to get to nearby larger towns. Amazing view of sunset and the mountain. The space is large and private, WiFi was good for streaming videos and working. Large bathroom with a powerful very good shower. The cooking facilities include a kettle, toaster and a microwave. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

A super lovely and cosy cottage settled amongst a beautiful garden. Interior design was top notch and it matched the photos exactly, extremely clean and inviting. We really appreciated all the complimentary extras provided from both the kitchen and bathroom. Janine and her husband were wonderful and very responsive hosts with great local knowledge. Location was also perfect for all your day walks. Can’t rate Cottage 51 enough!
