Barn accommodation in Normandy

We had a great week at the house! The location is very quiet and beautiful. The house is provided with everything you might need. I'm glad there's so much. Fabrice and Nathalie's hospitality is heartwarming. The house is cozy, well furnished, and the JBL box is very nice (so I didn't need my own). The garden is big and beautiful. With the nice weather, it was nice to water the plants. The bbq and fire bowl were atmosphere hooks. The beds were a bit narrow but not a problem. The house is very worth it and not expensive for a whole family.

Audrey's cute little chalet is exactly as described! The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful and it's very quiet. All you hear is birds!! There's a beautiful garden with nice flowers and the chalet actually had it's own garden so you can enjoy some privacy. The house is pretty centrally located in Normandy and everything you want to do is driveable by car. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal! We had a really nice and relaxing time there! Thank you Audrey!

Caroline is a friendly host. She speaks perfect English. -- The apartment is quiet and has a large garden that you can use. Many birds sing there. -- From there, you can quickly reach the coast, the Seine or the Forêt de Brotonne. -- The "Parc Naturel des Etangs de Pont Audemer", the "Forêt de Brotonne" and the "Réserve Naturelle de l'Estuaire de la Seine" are of interest to bird watchers.

Another great stay with Carole in Subles. Entry to the property is even easier now with an electric gate from a side road. Caroles place was clean and has all the amenities you need. It has a great location close to Bayeux / petrol / Hypermarche yet is peaceful and secluded inside Caroles beautiful home. As motorcyclists, we can park our machines safely inside the property walls and also under the cover of an outbuilding, keeping them out of the weather. Whilst the gravel drive is great offroad training Carole thoughtfully proved wooden side stand supports. The property is in a great location for visiting the D-Day / WW2 sites and we look forward to coming back to explore more.

We booked this property at short notice for 3 nights and were not disappointed. Location wise for us it was perfect as we wanted to visit certain areas that we had links to on the Normandy beaches. Olivier and Lodie were the perfect hosts and great people to meet. Anyone visiting this area give these guys a look. Great Airbnb 👍

Francois made us feel at home straight away, his English was good although we like to communicate in French. He showed us his lovely home which was more like a lived in home than a Airbnb. Which made it much more homely. There were some lovely touches like goodies on the table for us. There was plenty of outdoor space although the weather was rather chilly. Francois provided good bikes which were in the barn next door along with a ping pong table and barbecue. There was a local village 2.5 K away with a fabulous Boulangerie, and the town of Verneuil sur Avre nearby which was stunning!

We were able to arrive at 8:30 p.m., no problem. Chris was waiting for us and had everything ready. It was very good in the house which is very bright and beautifully arranged. A nominative welcome word with a few recommendations was waiting for us. I enjoyed it. The different rooms are spacious. Everything is available a super U, 1 gas station, 2 bakeries, 1 creperie (which I recommend ++++) thanks for the weekend with the family

Cosy and cozy cottage in the virois bocage, very quiet and very well equipped. Loved it and enjoyed the spacious relaxing and leisure greenhouse, perfect for a weekend in Normandy weather! Mark and Caroline, thanks again! We will definitely be back, in the meantime, we would recommend it without hesitation.

Very good stay in this quiet country house but benefiting from a beautiful location since it is located a few minutes from the road infrastructure facilitating travel to Rennes and its surroundings. House particularly well maintained and very well equipped with quality utensils, accessories and furniture. Very friendly welcome and particularly responsive host.

Great stay in this beautiful house, very well thought out with each room having its own bathroom, very nicely decorated, and the bedding is very comfortable. Xavier and Josiane's family building is super charming, but also very well equipped: Large swimming pool, barbecue, large garden, internet, several large game rooms equipped with televisions, renovated bathrooms, and recent and comfortable furniture, we didn't miss anything! Xavier is very welcoming and accommodating, we had a great weekend and would be happy to repeat the experience! The place easily accommodated a dozen adults, offering a comfortable bed for each, as well as many bathrooms. The hypermarket is 10 minutes away by car, which allowed us to easily stock up.

We had a pleasant stay at Claude and Ali's. We were hosted very well with a bottle of cider. The place was clean and pretty and this one, set in the middle of the countryside, is perfect for a peaceful weekend! I would highly recommend it!

We had a great weekend in Ariane's beautiful place. The old house retains the charm of the old Norman houses with new and practical decor and furniture. The house and garden are in pristine condition, there is plenty of space and calm. Only small flaw: a single bathroom and dishes a little just in number. A responsive and flexible host. We had a little misunderstanding that was settled by the host quite quickly and allowed us to enjoy the stay. We recommend this home!

Great central location! Bakeries and supermarkets (one small, one large) within walking distance. Very nice house, great and thoughtfully furnished. We didn't miss anything. There were outlets where you need them, light where you need it. Cloths, towels, small basic set of spices, large sturdy table to sit outside. Garden chairs, parasol… perfect! For our group of 6 (3 couples) it was very pleasant that there was a bathroom for each bedroom (2 of them en suite) Check-in and check-out: friendly and very humorous! Great people … Too bad we only booked for 5 days - would have liked to have stayed longer!

Beautiful and clean accommodation with lovely garden and beautiful views. In the house can easily stay 9 people. The rooms are as described. The two bedrooms on the lower floor have a bathroom with toilet, downstairs is also a separate toilet. Upstairs is also a toilet and bathroom. The house is very complete, everything you need is present. Also the kitchen is very complete (we cooked most evenings in the house.) Outside is a spacious garden with beautiful views and enough furniture to sit or eat (and space to play for children). The donkeys and the horse sometimes come and take a look, which our daughters really like. In the village there is a baker with delicious bread, croissant and pastries. In the area are beautiful forests to walk in and beautiful towns to visit. In the auberge in the village, you can eat delicious food. We had a very good stay in a very comfortable and welcoming home and other lovely and thoughtful people. Very practical and very comfortable for six people including two small children.
