Quinta do Caminho da Igreja TER1 (Farmhouse)

Traditional country house on São Jorge Island, built 100 years ago by our great-grandparents, it was at that time a small house and haystack, where they kept the animals that worked in the fields. It is located a few meters from the sea in an absolutely quiet location. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing, hiking, and swimming in the sea. Nemo's Corner

We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London. Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

With 3 floors, 2 fully equipped bathrooms, living and dining room and spacious terrace (w/barbecue) this is a place where you´re invited to try our low hanging fruits and vegs - figs, bananas, yams, grapes, etc This fajã is well known by hiking trails and natural pools, all in walking distance.
