We're located in a rural setting, ten minutes north of Duncan. This a two acre property on the base of Mt. Prevost and Mt. Sicker, intermittently run as a hobby farm with various farm animals, along with the family dog (Sawyer) and cat (Finnegan). Hiking trails nearby. Ten minute drive to shopping centre and downtown Duncan. Direct highway access and scenic rural routes. Excellent location for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) a nice rural farm experience!

Our heritage home is only 5 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to the Cowichan District hospital. The "HH Garden Suite", is situated in the heart of the Cowichan Valley's mountain - biking area and is no more than a ten minute drive to any of the three mountains that valley bikers boast of! The suite offers pastoral and mountain views of the Cowichan Valley. The location is central to numerous activities such as hiking, bike trails, kayaking, fishing and swimming in the nearby Cowichan River. Downtown Duncan is less than 10 minutes away and there is bus service available.

The suite is bright and cheerful, one bedroom with a double sofa bed in the living area. It is fully furnished with a full kitchen, complete bathroom facilities and washer/dryer. The suite is totally self contained with its own private entrance. Linens, towels, shampoos and utensils are provided. We are at the foot of Mt. Tzouhalem (Zoo-Halem), a popular hiking/mountain biking and walking destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Our suite is inspected and legal.

Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.

Our worry free luxury cottage is our second dwelling on our main resident property and therefore is risk free of unexpected cancellations. While you are here and getting to know the ropes enjoy all the; local wineries/breweries, tea farm, fresh farm food, local artisans and marinas all within minutes of our location. Take a short walk down to the kayak rental if you’re feeling like you want to play in the water, or just enjoy laying on the beach.
