very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

We had the most beautiful stay at the school house. You can tell the hosts put a lot of love into the place, there were so many little details to discover. The wood fire and the view onto the maple forest made for a very relaxing weekend. I am making plans to return to experience it in the summer too! Thank you Isabelle!

I've read all the previous reviews because I wanted mine to be even more special. I don't have a pen as beautiful as most of these. But all I can tell you is that it was…….PARFAIT!!! The hosts were perfect , the refuge was perfect, the place was perfect, the trails were perfect, the deer was perfect... Thank you Denis and Diane, and see you next year for sure.

This place is as advertised. We immediately felt at ease upon entering the place. It is a cozy European style chalet that is close to skiing and the village. We are already planning a return next winter.

Such a gem! So happy we found this very private spot. It was perfect for our weekend away with our family and our dogs. Home was super cute, VERY clean and truly one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in as far as amenities. There were so many fresh clean towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and TONS of linens like extra blankets (I usually freeze in bed), even basic kitchen supplies. Got to meet the owner briefly and she is a DOLL! If we have the chance to stay in this area again, we would definitely go back! Don't hesitate if you like quiet private surroundings. Oh and the view out the living room window was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful place, very nice and comfortable, one of the most beautiful places I've seen!

The space is cozy and perfect for a nature retreat. Communication was clear and I was easily able to contact Jean-Thomas when I had trouble finding the place (in the middle of a snowstorm, I must say!). The surrounding trails are beautiful and well maintained!

Jonathan's place was just what we needed for a short getaway! It was very cute and comfortable. We also enjoyed Mansonville and the hiking trails nearby. We'd be happy to stay here again.

The place is beautiful. It conservation of a historic building with a sketch expansion. The terraces were superb and had a view of the lake. Everything was perfect we wish we had more time at the cottage even to enjoy more. Recommended

Sophie's chalet worked out very well for our group. We were 9 guys on a golf trip and it was suitable for our needs. Sophie was very responsive when needed. If we go back to Orford I would definitely stay again

The chalet was able to meet all of our needs exactly. The stay was very pleasant and Max was a very proactive and flexible host.

This home was absolutely wonderful and met every single need. The kitchen was as well stocked as our own home so baking/cooking was a breeze. We loved the dining table to gather around for a family brunch and the kitchen island was a dream to work at. The entire setup of the home made it extremely easy for our family to stay organized and every homeowner needs a front entrance like this one! Will definitely be back - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with 13 guests, celebrating an upcoming wedding. Yanick and Claudia were quick too respond, and flexible when we had to slightly move dates. They provided great advice on nearby amenities, and check in was quick and easy. The home itself is gorgeous and impeccably clean. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The pool table was fantastic, as was the dining table that could actually fit all 13 of us! Overall, this space had everything we needed (and more!) to have a memorable and fun gathering.

If it was for sale, we would ask to buy it, but it wouldn’t come with our wonderful hosts so we’ll continue to rent it! What a wonderful experience we had enjoying ourselves and beautiful Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec. We visit Quebec quite often from the states where we live and we have stayed in several places over many years and this is one of our favorites. Kelly's place is very cozy and the view of the lake is peaceful and you see the lake from pretty much everwhere in the cottage. Location is great: 5 minutes from Dunham for immediate needs. Dunham is pretty central if you want to visit all the different towns in the eastern townships. It is like 30 minutes (or even less) to the major ones (sutton, lake brome, knowlton, frelighsburg, bromont, granby). Tall people might want to be careful since the cottage has angle roofs so you might bump your head a bit. hehehe Kitchen was very functional, with everything you need.

Very good, nice little cottage on the quiet river. Well-equipped chalet, the host is attentive to our requests and communicates with ease, we will return. The only thing to watch out for is the 32 steps to get down from the parking lot to the cottage with luggage and cooler! Not a problem for us, but good to know! Thank you

The perfect spot for a large group of family or friends. Very clean, lots of extras (games, basic food supplies, etc). Great lake access and an awesome deck.

Amazing place just as pictured! The lake is very quiet and the paddle boards were a ton of fun. Great Lake getaway! Even had some walking trails not to far that lead to a local park which was a pleasant surprise!

Jean Francois & Ray are excellent hosts! They couldn't be more hospitable & helpful. The cottage is cozy & well-appointed. Beds are comfortable. Location is perfect, just a few minute walk to town & lake. And across street from Saturday Farmer's Market! Courtyard & spa are private & serene. Great place to stay with dogs, as its a safe distance from street.

Great spot for groups, plenty of space, host was very flexible with check in and out and easy to reach
